Cuisine bien équipée avec cuisinière Viking, lave-vaisselle, coin petit-déjeuner. lumière magnifique. Grande chambre centrale avec table de salle à manger, sièges 10 personnes confortablement. Planchers de bois franc. Upright piano à queue. Cheminée dans le salon. Parfait pour se divertir. 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain. Suite parentale ouvre à l'étage sur un balcon, dispose d'une télévision grand écran et petit bureau avec vue. Une chambre en bas a belle vue sur le jardin. chambres en bas ont des lits doubles. La chambre principale a un lit queen. Off-street parking pour 4 véhicules. Piscine (non chauffée), très grande cour privée. Magnifiquement aménagé. Deux bar-b-ques Weber (gaz et charbon), fumoir électrique.

One of the best houses I've rented! The photos don't do it justice. The house is full of art, books, and personality. The backyard garden and pool are like a dream, and we loved watching the hummingbirds there. The neighborhood is also nice with many cute houses, and Venice Beach is not far. There are many restaurants and other amenities within a short drive.

Very nice stay

This was our first time staying at a rental home and we loved our stay. This charming home is in a good location and the hosts are very friendly and accomidating.

Venice Pool house

We had a wonderful stay at Bill and Judy’s for our family vacation! We were there for the Taylor Swift concert and they were more than accommodating for our early arrival! The pool was definitely a plus and the house was amazing! Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful Artists Home in Venice

We had a wonderful stay. The house feels warm and lived in - like a home away from home. There’s an extensive CD collection with music from every era. While the pool is unheated, it was a great temperature for us to swim on the warm days during our stay. If you want to watch tv, there is only one upstairs in the primary suite. But there are plenty of games to enjoy downstairs. The kitchen and pantry are well-stocked. Would definitely recommend Judy and Bill’s home.

Absolutely lovely

Our hosts were wonderful and our experience was flawless.This charming home is nestled in an ideal part of Venice. It is close to many restaurants, freeway access, the beach and is in a highly walkable neighborhood (that felt safe) with a diverse collection of homes. Our events were in Playa Vista and Marina del Rey which are a hop, skip and jump from the house (by car).Everything that we needed was available in the home. The energy of the space is inviting, warm and peaceful. The house felt like a hug.I would definitely stay again when visiting west LA. I am a native, now living in another part of the state so I know the zone and this is truly a gem. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice.

Amazing

Une maison très agréable en plein cœur de Venice, pleine de charme avec son joli parquet et ses grands espaces, un jardin bohème et une piscine dans laquelle on se prélasse avec plaisir... Bill et Judy sont de formidables hôtes, prêts à tout pour que vous passiez un merveilleux séjour. Et c’est ce qui s’est passé : on ne voulait plus repartir ... Je recommande vivement!

The House of my dreams

To be frank I did not want to write this text because I wanted to keep this place secret …Indeed it is the best place to be for friends and family holidays in Venice ! A quiet, zen and fantastic house back to the mood of the sixties . A place for passionate artists and musician, especially if you love jazz or reading books . A peaceful harbor !! A great and fruity garden with a very nice swimming pool. Not too far from every fancy places of Venice (Abbot Kinney, Santa Monica, Lincoln Boulevard, the boardwalk, the marina, the canals …). And you can do everything by bike of course ! You are also not far from the highway if you need to do to other places ! Judy and Bill are so extraordinary, sweet, helpful and listening to you for everything. So please don’t go there because we decide to go back as soon as we can AHAHAH !!! There are also many other secrets but I will not tell you, I leave you the surprise .

An unforgettable visit

This stay was supposed to be just a place for us to sleep while we visited family and the local attractions. With each passing day, we only wanted to spend more time at the house rather than leave for something inevitably less fulfilling. Bill's generosity of time, music and literature reminded us all of what life is really about. It will be difficult to visit hotels or generic homes in the future or at least it will be easier to justify spending all of your time away. Life changing stay.

Perfect stay for first-time LA visitors

We were attracted by the artsy decor, the piano and the pool of this listing. It turned out to offer much more. It’s our first visit to LA. The location is perfect. Very convenient to get on the main highways to everywhere. Close to the airport and Venice beach. Easy to drive to downtown, Santa Monica, Disneyland and other beaches down the South. We wish the weather could be nicer so we can use the pool, but it’s very relaxing just to sit in the backyard. Our six year old daughter kept complaining that why we couldn’t spend more time just “at home” instead of going to places. The host Bill is very friendly and thoughtful. We will definitely recommend this lovely home to any families with young kids visiting LA.

Wonderful home, perfect hosts!

We adored this home - warm, comfortable, inviting, w a real cook's kitchen, a pool, a piano, guitar and ukelele for my musician daughter and boyfriend, and the most amazing reading and cd collection. Great location away from the crowds but close to everything. MOST importantly, though, we adored Bill and Judy, our hosts, who are warm, kind and generous. They even offered us a christmas tree stand and lights for our tree! Truly humans of the highest order, as evidenced by Bill's response when we told him our daughters boyfriend tested positive for covid just one day into his stay w us. Bill was calm, reassuring and understanding - allowing our kids to stay on ( we skedaddled ! ) and helping us plan the cleaning and turnover at the end of the week in a way that was safe for all, and offering assistance to my adult kids if they needed it even after they moved on to finish their isolation at another airB&B. This pandemic has been a nightmare for us all, but it has shown us just how wonderful some people can be. People like Bill and Judy show us the best of who we are, and knowing them gives me faith that if we just pull together, we can get through this. I can't wait for this pandemic to be over so we can return to this wonderful home again with our family.

Perfect!

Loved our stay here! We hosted Thanksgiving dinner with my brother and his family. It was amazing to stay in a real home filled with books, music, and art. We enjoyed playing the upright piano and browsing various books from the shelves. The kitchen had everything we needed. We even made s'mores in the fire pit. Excellent communication. Hope to stay here again on future trips to LA!

My family and I had a great stay

We had a great time on our trip and thank to the wonderful home we stayed in. Great for family’s to spend time together and relax. This is a beautifully designed spaces house with very tasteful decor and amazing outdoor area. My family loved the backyard & pool, spent every evening there. Location is great, it is a quiet residential neighborhood, 10 minutes away from restaurants, beach, shopping. We highly recommended!! Definitely come back!
