Black Rock Ridge

We had an excellent experience. The place was extremely clean and organized, conveniently close to Deer Valley and Park City Hosts were very helpful accommodating our schedule. We will certainly book it again.

Wonderful Condo Near the Mountains!

This condo was wonderful for myself and family. The check in and out process was very easy! Extremely responsive property management with convenient text communication. The property itself was well planned and provided all the needed accessories to cook, eat, enjoy the condo with the family and have a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this property and will stay again!

Dirty Beds - Disgusting and Inconvenient

I booked a rental through VRBO expecting a clean and comfortable stay, but what I received was far from it. Upon arrival, we discovered hair on the bed sheets in every single bed. It was absolutely appalling.We immediately contacted the management company, who, despite their supposed motto of "if I was the customer," demonstrated a complete lack of concern. They initially told us they couldn't send anyone to change the sheets until 9:30 AM the following day, implying we should sleep on the dirty sheets. This was completely unacceptable. We were exhausted when we were getting ready for bed, and were faced with sleeping in filthy beds.After pushing back, they finally agreed to send new sheets via Instacart. However, this "solution" was far from ideal. We were forced to wait two hours for the delivery and then make up all the beds ourselves. This is not what I expect from a rental property, especially after paying a cleaning fee.The management company claimed their head housekeeper changed the sheets personally. This is blatantly false, as we have photographic evidence of the hair on every bed. It's insulting that they would try to pass off such a blatant lie.To add insult to injury, they only offered a partial refund of the cleaning fee. This is a pathetic attempt to rectify a situation that was entirely their fault. I shared this review with management to explain why I expected a full refund of the cleaning fee, and they accused me of extortion and told me there would now

Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry the start of your stay fell short of expectations. Hair on the bedsheets is unacceptable, and we regret that this detail was missed. That said, we want to provide some clarity. Due to a snowstorm the night of your arrival, our team was physically unable to reach the property that evening. To address your concern as quickly as possible, we arranged a same-night Instacart delivery of fresh linens. While delivery took two hours due to weather and driver availability, this was the fastest possible solution under the circumstances. We also provided a refund as a gesture of goodwill—even though our team acted promptly and professionally within the limits of the situation. We take guest concerns seriously, but we also stand by our team and the way the situation was handled. While we regret that this experience led to such a strong review, we remain committed to providing clean, comfortable homes and responsive service to all of our guests, even in challenging conditions.
