BIENVENUE AU CAP GUINEVERE AU BAXTER LAKE
Profitez de cette fantastique maison au bord du lac dans le New Hampshire. EntourĂ© d'arbres, le Cap GueniĂšvre est le refuge parfait pour une escapade paisible avec une beautĂ© pittoresque partout oĂč vous regardez. SituĂ© au centre de Baxter Lake, Cape Guinevere est Ă  environ 30 minutes de Portsmouth et du lac Winnipesaukee, et Gunstock Mountain, Loudon, Laconia, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Wolfeboro, Concord, Newburyport, Manchester et Hampton Beach sont tous Ă  moins d'une heure.

Le Cap GueniÚvre est situé sur deux étages au-dessus du sol, avec prÚs de 2000 pieds carrés d'espace de vie confortable. 4 chambres (2 lits queen, 1 lit double, 2 lits jumeaux), 2. 5 salles de bains, draps et serviettes inclus, une cuisine complÚte avec beaucoup d'ustensiles et ustensiles de cuisine, une table géante pouvant accueillir 10 personnes et des siÚges en plein air sur des tables de pique-nique . Nous avons organisé un dßner de Thanksgiving complet au Cap GueniÚvre pour 14 personnes, et tout s'est bien passé!

Le cap GueniÚvre est à environ 5 minutes à pied du bord de mer sur le lac Baxter le long d'une route calme et sûre. De là, vous pouvez nager, lancer des kayaks, lancer un bateau ou tout simplement profiter de la vue. Nous sommes situés juste sur la ligne de la ville de Farmington et Rochester, et vous trouverez de nombreuses commodités à 15 minutes en voiture de Rochester (grandes épiceries, Home Depot, Lowe's, restaurants, stations-service, services, etc.)

Vous aurez besoin d'une voiture pour vous rendre au Cap GueniÚvre, mais heureusement, nous avons beaucoup de parking pour 6-8 voitures. Une fois sur place, vous pouvez marcher ou faire du vélo dans la rue. Vous verrez également des gens monter des VTT, des motos ou des motoneiges, selon la saison.

Le Cap GueniÚvre est la maison quatre saisons idéale, avec une excellente isolation et chauffage pour l'hiver, et un climatiseur central pour l'été.

The house was excellent we enjoyed every minute we were there. I was worried a little bit about it being pet friendly but the house was extremely clean. Additionally we did bring our dog Jessie who is a large New Foundland and she also felt right at home with plenty of space and places to walk. The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful throughout the process.

Nice Christmas getaway

Our family stayed at this home near Baxter Lake over the Christmas week and had a very nice time. Very close to Rochester for shopping etc. All the necessities were provided and we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the well frozen lake. Great ice fishing!

Comfortable spot for family gatherings

We visited in the winter so we didn't really take advantage of the lake but the house itself was a perfect spot for us. The open floor plan made the whole family very comfortable. The hosts responded quickly any time we had questions and were very friendly.

Great place!

Cozy and comfortable

We loved our stay at Cape Guinevere! The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The beaches are nice and close. We are grateful we got to bring our dogs with us on vacation. We had lots of fun swimming with them at the dog beach. Owners are great!

2021 Family Vacation

We had a great time at the Baxter House. It was fully equipped and comfortable. We walked to the two beaches and enjoyed kayaking in the lake. We enjoyed the large table for dinners and game night. Close to shopping and neighboring farms.

Perfect family getaway

The house was great for a family gathering - especially the large dining table for playing games, doing puzzles and, of course, dining. Every amenity (including a very well stocked kitchen) you might need was provided. The fire pit with plenty of firewood and outdoor grill added so much to the ambiance! The house feels quiet and remote with so many activities ( restaurants, etc) a very close drive away. Would absolutely go back there!

We purchased Cape Guinevere at Baxter Lake in 2016 from a lovely family who built the home in the 90’s and intended to retire here. We live in Newburyport, but have been vacationing in New Hampshire at Baxter Lake for many years. In fact, our family members retired right down the street from Cape Guinevere! Baxter Lake is close enough from Boston for a quick hour-and-forty-minute drive up after work, but it's a world away from the city. No light pollution, clean air, quiet and tranquil, Cape Guinevere at Baxter Lake is the perfect escape for a long weekend, or a full week's vacation in the summer.

You can tell from the home’s craftsmanship, attention-to-detail, and structural integrity that the original owners truly expected to live here year round, and for many years. It's a destination unto itself, but also close enough to grocery stores, hardware stores, craft stores, and restaurants (15 minutes away), skiing (45 minutes away), and day trips under an hour (Ogunquit, Dover, Portsmouth, Laconia, Lake Winnipesaukee, Maine, Outlet Shopping).

We escape the city for our home in the woods as often as possible, but we also love sharing our home with responsible families and groups of friends who will treat our home respectfully.
