The House was wonderful. We slept well. The kitchen and dining room were quite functional. We had a great time! Mike was very responsive to the couple of questions I had. Another great Stratford stay!

Lovely home walkable to downtown. Plenty of space for 6 adults, and we didn’t even take advantage of the backyard or basement game room. Host was communicative with needs and I would look to stay here again on my next trip to Stratford.

Beautifully decorated home near city center

My family of 5 enjoyed the home which looks like every space in the home has been remodeled and professionally decorated. Everything provided felt luxurious. A grocery store is nearby, along with the city center. Wonderful stay.

Charming historic home with modern updates

We enjoyed staying at this property during a recent trip to Stratford. It is nestled in a lovely walkable neighborhood amongst other early 20th century brick houses. Inside, the house has been updated with modern flooring, bathrooms, kitchen appliances and and furnishings but retains the charm of high ceilings, wainscoting, and crown molding. The beds are very comfortable!

This home is immaculate! The amenities are top drawer and the kitchen is well stocked and equipped. Towels and bedding is superior. The owner, Michael, was very quick to respond to messages. Overall, we loved the house, will book again and will recommend to others coming to Stratford.

Stratford Home Base

This was a very good place to stay in Stratford for the plays. It was within walking distance of downtown and in a quiet neighborhood. The property was very clean and everything was provided for.

Cosmopolitan comfort

This house is a great find in Stratford. Everything was perfect. We were in town for the theatre festival and it was great to start and end the day here, a few minutes’ drive and easy walk from the center of town. It was clean, well appointed, and we couldn’t have been happier. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home

A beautiful property for a family vacation. We had 6 people - my husband, my three adult children and my Mom. The home was stunning - we drank coffee on the front porch every morning, the kids played table tennis and it was a great location. The linen sheets were a lovely touch! A luxury property that we would happily return to again!

Couldn't ask for more!

Really lovely place! Clean, fully stocked with amenity necessities and thoughtfully laid out. Clearly an older home (so steep stairs), but really attractively and effectively remodeled to contemporary standards with a beautiful yard. Owner was prompt, gracious and thorough with all correspondence. We wanted to stay longer.

Outstanding Home

Mike's home is absolutely beautiful from top to bottom. Impeccably furnished and clean. As a global traveler who has stayed in well over 300 properties, I have a deep appreciation for the way Mike communicated, and for how nice the property is. We ended up extending the stay by 4 days, and I have already shared his VRBO link with friends who I know will appreciate the property and the location as much as we did. Thanks Mike, you were a pleasure to deal with. Will rent again when back in Stratford.

Perfection!

We were thrilled to find this remarkable property in Stratford. The whole accommodation is comfortable luxury at its best, from beautiful design qualities and perfect linen bedding to up-to-date technology and lovely garden. It is a spacious and welcoming home, and the host has truly thought of every possible wish of the traveler. And I must say: the king bed upstairs is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in away from home over many decades. The photographs are accurate, but the place as a whole is even more impressive. Most importantly, the entire home is perfectly immaculate and fresh. This is where we will return on every future trip to Stratford!

Our week in Stratford

PROS: Loved the first floor, which was very clean with a nice mixture of modern decor in a classic home. Smart TV in the living room was large and nice which is not common in Stratford. I liked sitting out in the back yard reading, which was nicely landscaped! Kitchen was nice and modern with multiple ways to make coffee! Plenty of hot water and water pressure. King size bed which is hard to find in Stratford was very comfortable. CONS: My only issue was that the king sized bed (which was a big draw for us) was on the third floor requiring a lot of stair climbing and which didn’t seem to have AC on that floor. Fortunately the nights were cool and we could be comfortable with open windows. Mid summer this could be uncomfortably warm. We typically come to Stratford in the fall and would stay there again!
