Everything was exactly as listed! We are so happy with the quick responses from the host! The location was perfect! Close to the beach entrance and steps away from the pool! Would stay again! We love Fort Morgan!

The house was great! Very clean, pool and beach were a close walk. I love finding a beach house that is steps away from the boardwalk to get down to the beach and this was perfect. Kitchen, living room and downstairs master were enormous! The only negatives we had were the upstairs rooms were noticeably warmer than the downstairs. They had portable AC units in each of the upstairs rooms to combat that, but it still wasn't great. But, it was definitely HOT outside. So some lag in the air conditioning was expected. I was nervous after reading some recent reviews of this property, but once we arrived we quickly saw that the issues stated in those reviews were already remedied. We had a wonderful stay. Love that this property is so close Fort Morgan. If you want a private/ not crowded beach this is the place for you! Also - we had a fishing charter planned. The Fort Morgan Marina with lots of fishing charter companies and Tacky Jacks 2 are pretty much right across the street. That was a huge plus for us.

Great location and well equipped for a family.

Location was perfect for young family, close to beach and pool, and just a short walk to the pier on Mobile Bay. Kitchen was well stocked and bedroom setup was good for a larger family.

This house was perfect for our large family! As the kids become adults it is harder to find places to accommodate our family of 11, but this house was perfect.

Easter weekend trip

Group of 10, ages ranging from 14-45. The house was spacious and well stocked. Distance to the each was great! Lots of outdoor patio space to hang out in the morning and evening.

Our 2024 Family Beach Trip

We love staying in this house. The owners have everything for us. Even wagon to pull the chairs, umbrella, sand, buckets. It’s great. Very comfortable and cozy home. Thank you for letting us stay in the house.

Nice House, Great Location

We stayed for 2 weeks in February 2025. The house is nice and the location is excellent. We enjoyed being so close to the beach where we walked one or more times per day. The spacious porches were so nice to sit and relax. We had a few issues but they were responsive in resolving. We gave 4 stars because the house was not as clean as we expected and there were minimal paper supplies (one roll of TP/toilet, no facial tissues or paper towels).

Great calm getaway!

Perfect large family house walking distance to the beach! Quiet beach, not crowded, very nice change of pace from the commercialized areas we were used to. We loved it! Beach toys, umbrellas, and a wagon were provided, and that was very handy! The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a community pool that is very nice and well kept as well. The kids enjoyed it too! The house has a couple arcade style video games that the kids really loved! Very nice place, with modern features and updates. Had a great trip, hope to return sometime soon!

Great location. Short walk to the beach and pool. Was perfect for the kids and older people who went. We had issues with aunts on the porch and by the stairs going to the second level. But none in the kitchen or anywhere else. The house has more than enough room for 14 people. Especially with 2 rollaway beds in the closets. We did have issues with the stove top working properly. It could have been user error. But would recommend checking it before you plan to cook a big meal. Also had trouble with the fridge staying cold. But again with 14 people the door could have been opened so much it just couldn’t keep up. Over all great place!

The property was ready early, which is always a plus for arrival day. We immediately found that the main light in the kitchen did not work. (When reported, I was told to flick the switch on and off a few times and it would come on!) Ok, a little concerning. Found that the 4th "bedroom" was actually a small, closet-like area off the laundry room, with a twin bunk, two arcade games, and an exterior exit door. (totally inappropriate for children who would occupy that space during the trip) The upstairs was hot, although the thermostat in the landing said it was 69*. Since one of the upstairs bedrooms was designed to hold 6 children (we had two adults and a baby in that area) it seemed very odd that it was this hot when empty. Called host, was told no other guests had previously complained about the heat, however we found multiple used thermostats in a closet that said otherwise. Hostwould have someone come check this issue. (we spent hours waiting for various persons to look at the AC during our 5-day stay) The upstairs bathroom had a vent that was dripping water and a wet ceiling, along with dirty floor and rusting fixtures possibly due to the damp conditions and lack of airflow. The second upstairs bedroom had very little air coming out of the air vent. (we were told to use the fans in the closet) The fans were filthy, caked with lint from previous use in wet conditions. Sand on bathroom floor, but could not vacuum because the vacuum was clogged. much more..

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our family vacation, which included 5 boys under the age of 8. The layout gave us plenty of room to spread out, and we loved being able to walk to both the pool and the beach with no issues.One feature we especially appreciated was the flexibility of the sleeping arrangements. In addition to the bedrooms, the house had a pull-out sofa and a couple of rollaway beds, making it easy to accommodate everyone comfortably without feeling cramped.We did have a miscommunication about early check-in on arrival day, but Tosha responded quickly and had her cleaning team there so everything was ready by the standard check-in time. We really appreciated how promptly she handled the situation.The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a fun family beach week. We’d happily stay here again!

The property lacked consistent routine maintenance. The upstairs air conditioner barely worked. Fans were provided but sleeping at night was stuffy. The patio furniture and carpet were covered in black mildew and disintegrating. The common living space and master bedroom were updated and nice. The larger bunk room structure was a lofted bed with mattresses on the floor below. The twin bunk in the picture is a converted laundry closet and was not connected to a bathroom. The bunk areas would only be comfortable for small children. The structures are not built for teenagers or young adults. The kitchen was stocked with only 1 towel and when we arrived the bath towels were folded but damp. I hope the property receives some TLC! It has a lot of potential.
