Lake view cottage, clean weed free swimming and a hot tub on Mississagua Lake

The Common Loon is a traditional Canadian Cottage offering a beautiful lake view with a hot tub and is ideal for 4-6 guests. Park your car and enjoy a 3 min boat ride to this island getaway! No boat, no problem! We can offer a shuttle to and from the cottage at agreed upon times or you can rent one from either Kawartha Adventure Rentals (pontoon boats, seadoos) or Buckeye Marine (fishing boats)!

The cottage itself sits ontop of the Canadian Shield. It was built to enjoy the view and outdoors. From each and every space within the cottage you will be able to take in the view of the towering pines over the lake.

Two comfortable bedrooms await you! The master bedroom is equipped with a queen sized bed and ample dresser storage, while the secondary bedroom has a bunk bed, (double over single), a dresser and a TV with DVD player for the little ones who are tired but not quite ready to fall asleep.

After a days exploration around the 7 lake chain, with opportunities to rock jump, play on the sand beaches and and sand bars, visit the marinas for ice cream you will be ready to relax around the lake side firepit and enjoy the sounds of cottage country.

The cottage kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, double oven stove, all cooking utensils, coffee maker, kettle, griddle, pots, pans, and BBQ.
