Thank you for your review. We agree this was not the right match, although perhaps for different reasons. For future guests: the first concern was the location/proximity of neighbouring homes, which is shown and described throughout the listing. The next concern was that the coffee mugs didn’t match. They intentionally don’t! Everyone can choose a favourite, knows which coffee is theirs, and we replace one mug instead of an entire set when one breaks. Nevertheless, when we learned matching mugs were important, we delivered them promptly. There were no reported deficiencies with cleanliness, maintenance or kitchen functionality. The cookware mentioned is durable Wear-Ever cookware, intentionally kept because we believe perfectly functional things don’t belong in landfills simply because they aren’t new. We promptly called, apologized, and offered a full refund if the guest preferred to relocate. The guest stayed all three nights and later sought compensation through VRBO. Photos provided to support the concerns included the mismatched mugs; VRBO determined compensation wasn’t warranted.
