Ocean & Haystack Rock View - Promenade rapide et proche de la plage!

Nous avons construit notre maison à Cannon Beach à la fin des années 1980 et nous en profitons depuis. C'est une grande maison de deux étages et demi avec vue sur l'océan à l'ouest et au sud, y compris Haystack Rock & the Needles. Vous pouvez profiter de la vue depuis deux terrasses ou depuis presque toutes les pièces de la maison.

DANS LA MAISON ... un salon spacieux et une terrasse pour se prélasser et lire; tous avec vue sur l'océan. Pour les nuits orageuses, il y a un poêle à bois / cheminée. Il y a aussi beaucoup de place pour l'artisanat dans la salle à manger, ainsi que pour jouer à des jeux et faire des puzzles.

La suite principale King au rez-de-chaussée a sa propre salle de bain privée, 3/4 et une vue partielle sur l'océan.

Il y a une chambre Queen au même étage, avec accès à une petite terrasse arrière et à la télévision. Utilise une salle de bain au deuxième étage.

Une deuxième chambre Queen est située au dernier étage avec une vue imprenable sur la côte - elle a un lit queen et sa propre terrasse privée. Utilise la deuxième salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée.

Au premier étage / inférieur, il y a une salle de lecture / cinéma confortable, avec un poêle à bois et une télévision à écran plat 50 pouces à jour. Il y a deux chambres lits jumeaux à l'étage inférieur, chacune avec deux lits jumeaux, qui partagent une salle de bain. La buanderie est également située à cet étage.

À L'EXTÉRIEUR DE LA MAISON ... à seulement cinq minutes à pied de la plage - notre maison est située sur le côté est de Hemlock, la rue principale qui traverse Cannon Beach. Il vous suffit de traverser Hemlock et de descendre une petite colline ou un escalier public pour descendre à la plage et à Haystack Rock.

Midtown Cannon Beach est à 5-10 minutes à pied de notre maison, le centre-ville est à environ 20-30 si vous marchez sur la plage. Il y a aussi une navette qui va de la ville que vous pouvez prendre - pas besoin de conduire n'importe où!

The host was communicative and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel at home during the holiday season. Also, the view from the house is extraordinary (right at Haystack Rock!), and the location is great for walks either northward into the Cannon Beach downtown, or southward toward the Tolovana Park area.

Great place for a family reunion

We had a great stay near Haystack Rock. The house is perfect for a family reunion and we appreciated that the kitchen was well supplied with dishes and utensils so we could prepare some of our own meals. Helen communicated all of the information we needed. The location was ideal as well.

Family vacation

The property is in a great location and the perfect size for our family. Eight adults and two children. It was easy to get to the beach and downtown. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and haystack rock. We will definitely try to book this again.

Seven sorority sisters still having fun 50 years later!

Nice place for a gathering of friends! Pretty steep access to beach…especially on the way back! Quick drive into town for an easier access. Definitely would recommend!

Clean, comfortable and spacious. Easily accommodated 7 adults and kids. No need to bring beach toys as they have all you would need. Do being beach towels or blankets. Easy walk to the beach and the town of Canon Beach. No air conditioning but even on the hottest day of our stay if quickly cooled down from the ocean breeze once the sun went down.

Perfect house for large group in great location.

Perfect getaway for a large group. We were 7 singles and the layout of the house is great for privacy yet a large great room for gathering. Never used the televisions, but the house lacks nothing. Good location. Good view. So much to do in Cannon Beach. Very pleasant owner.

Perfect house for large family

This house had lots of room for our large family. 2 decks and a beautiful view of Haystack Rock and the beach. It was very well stocked-kitchen had everything we needed including spices. Sand toys and beach chairs and beach towels. Lots of blakets etc. Great location-short walk into town.

Awesome views of Haystack Rock off a patio on the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean. There were plenty of bedrooms for the 8 people we had at the house. I would recommend it.

Eight PLU classmates celebrating our 80 th birthdays.

Simple to rent it, noise in VRBO office was distracting and couldn’t decifer answers without having them repeated. Helen our host was great. The time frames changes were not available so we could take advantage of them as we were all coming from different directions in different cars so that would have been nice to plan for extra time checking in and out. House was fine with/without cloudy days.

Haystack heaven

This is our second time at Helen’s property. We came with a group of friends from Seattle, Sacramento, Spokane and Tanzania. Our 4 kids (ages 11 months to 6 years), loved the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. Jacob a high chair and pack n’play was very helpful. The views are wonderful, location is great, and the house is very comfortable and inviting. We hope to return soon!

Unbeatable view

We have been coming to Cannon Beach for years and have stayed in various properties. This is absolutely a five star home. This was perfect for our group of ten, including four teens. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The deck is a great size and has a gorgeous view of Haystack Rock and the ocean. We spent some beautiful days and evenings on that deck. It’s a short walk to the beach, only downside was the uphill return but that’s the trade off for the panoramic view. And close proximity to midtown and a pleasant twenty minute beach walk into downtown. We can’t wait to return and are ready to book again for next year. Fun vacation! Beautiful area!

We were very impressed with the house and the communication we had with the owners/managers. Everything went very smoothly. The house is very clean and comfortable. It might be a little dated but everything was in good working condition. We found everything we needed, even all the tools for cracking and eating the 20 crabs we caught. The view was amazing. We especially loved the everyday sneak attacks launched by bald eagles on haystack rock. The walk to the beach is not far but very steep with lots of stairs. It was a little hard with lots of kids and all their gear. For adults, it’s a beautiful, relaxing walk. We had a great time and would definitely return. Thanks for a fun vacation!

Beautiful Views!!

We had 5 couples staying in the house. We loved the open layout of the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The views of Haystack Rock and the ocean were amazing. There is close beach access to get down to the Haystack Rock beach area - it’s an easy walk. And it’s a quick drive to the downtown area. It’s a great location to use for day trips north and south along the coast. I recommend a trip to Fort Clatsop in Astoria.

Family Reunion

The house was spacious, had many views of the ocean from different rooms plus it was a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and the ocean view from the living room where our large family gathered to tell stories around the wood burning fireplace! Communication with the host was excellent and she was always very helpful. We will be back!

We're one of very few homes available to rent in Cannon Beach that is 5 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 10 people. We're close to the beach - just a few minutes walk - AND have a gorgeous view of the ocean with partial view of Haystack Rock.
