Welcome to unit 16 in the newly constructed townhomes in Sunrise Ridge Resort in beautiful sunny Parksville, BC. These gorgeous townhomes are the newest constructed units on Resort Drive which is famous for the long sandy beaches, beautiful sunsets and amazing views. Completely new and contemporary 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse that is perfect for your get-away. A brand-new heat pump provides efficient heat and cooling all at your whim to ensure your comfort regardless of the weather.
The two bedrooms are each equipped with separate en-suite bathrooms for your comfort and privacy. A high-quality queen sized bed awaits with a super clean and modern en-suite equipped with a spacious stand-up glassed in shower. The master bedroom has a high-quality king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower and tub for your relaxing needs. Terry cloth house coats are provided for these spa-like experiences. The master bedroom has vaulted ceilings and fantastic big windows to maximize the view and sunlight.
There is a double-sized pullout couch in the living room for any extra sleeping space needs. Also on the main floor is a fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils, plates, cups and accessories that one could ask for. Baking dishes, fry pans are all provided along with your full size range, stove, microwave and fridge freezer. We include a drip coffee maker as well as a teapot for those morning wake-up calls. All linens are provided along with extras, firm and soft pillows are provided to ensure your comfort.
There are flatscreen televisions in each bedroom as well as a third flatscreen television located on the main floor in the living room. Each TV is a smart television so you can travel and stay current with all your favourite shows. In addition to that we offer a full cable package so you can be sure that the big game, golf channel, HGTV show and so much more is available to watch upon demand. Dedicated high-speed wifi is provided for all those streaming needs, gaming desires or should the mood strike for a little work to be done.
A half-bath is located on the main floor as well as a full sized washer and dryer should any laundry needs arise during your stay. A deck is located off the main floor that is equipped with a patio table and chairs along with a Weber BBQ for your grilling desires.
The resort offers beach access as these units are ocean front, steps away from long sandy beaches, skim boarding, paddle boarding and swimming. If the ocean fun isn't your speed, the resort has a wonderful pool and hot tub for guests to enjoy. Separate towels are provided for your use at the pool. Not only do we offer use of the pool, there is a great cardio / gym area that overlooks the pool. Looking for even more? We have an outdoor fire pit for use on-site, sit and enjoy the starry night underneath the massive arbutus trees and roast some marshmellows.
Parking is available directly in front of your unit so no need to haul belongings from a parking lot. Key coded access is provided to each guest prior to your stay along with a welcome package containing information on the area, directions to the resort and some helpful information on some sites to visit in the area.
So much to do and see in the Parksville area from amazing hikes and nature walks for all levels, Coombs offers the world-famous goats on the roof, mini-golf, artisan markets, farmer markets galore, 6-plus golf courses within 20 minutes, skiing at Mt Washington is a very driveable distance as well. We highly recommend Serious Coffee which is a 2 min walk from the unit and one simply must go to Arrowsmith Brewery to enjoy some artisan pizza and local made beverages. A must stop!

The place is absolutely gorgeous and clean. Such big windows and high ceilings and comfortable beds. Very tastefully decorated check-in was seamless. We appreciated the chocolates on our beds and the cute little rocks in the gardens. This unit does not have an ocean view nor is it on the ocean, but it’s a short walk there. So much to see and do in the area.

I was very pleased with this new townhouse. It was decorated in a contemporary style and had all the usual amenities one expects today such as luxury linens, deep tub, good internet, new appliances in the kitchen. It was also very quiet.Easy access to the common pool and spa, and great location for access to both major island highways.Since I knew that the property was not "ocean front" I did not challenge the owner's description, but other renters should know that the unit is barely "ocean view" from upstairs. Thanks.

Great family vacation!
Beautiful brand new accommodation. Very true to the photos. Excellent location. The kids loved the pool area and the quick walk to the ocean. There is construction happening very close to the unit but it didn’t really affect our stay as they did the majority of the work while we were away exploring the island during the day. We would definitely come back!

The unit was hard to find as the address was black on black, we arrived in the dark.
We had 5 in our family and found the unit great. Everything you need for cooking. Bedding and towels are deluxe, making you feel like you were staying in an exclusive hotel. Close to all the Parksville amenities. Booking and getting instructions was very straight forward. All appliances were top notch, TV's was very smart!

Misleading description
Beautiful townhouse. Comfortable and well equipped. Be aware that it is not an "ocean front" property as advertised. It is a 500 m walk down a path to a rocky beach. Also be aware you are staying in a construction zone as new units are under construction across the street. Nice place, but with some cautions.

Misleading listing
The unit itself is quite nice and of a good size, But it is on a construction site with builders on site from Monday to Friday every week from 7h30am to 4h30pm, and even on some weekends starting at 8am. And we are talking heavy machinery and dumptrucks here! There is no beach and no beach access. There is a mudflat in front of the resort and the "access" to this mudflat (when not all together close by the builders) is a few feet down from a cement wall (no stairs, no ramp). And, the resort might be water front, but this unit has no view of the water, even from the second floor master bedroom's window. So, if you want a quiet unit, specially early in the morning, go somewhere else.

This is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the and not far from the highway. It was very clean and it was great having 2 larger bedrooms with full bathrooms plus the powder and the sofa bed as we were a group of 5 people. There was a full kitchen which was adequately set up as well. Our only criticisms would be the lack of extra linens and towels and paper products, like tissue boxes. There was only one Kleenex box in the whole place and it would have been nice if there was some extra towels and blankets for the beds. Also, it would be helpful to mention the correct lane you drive down to reach the unit number in the directions. We arrived in the dark so we had to circle a few times to figure out which lane to go down. These are small things, but little things to make it even better! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and my friends really enjoyed access to the hot tub.
