Rustic Log Cabin in this cozy mountain accomodation at the quaint Sasquatch Mountain Resort (formerly Hemlock Valley)

Staying here is all about escaping your daily routine. Just a short drive from the city allows you to enjoy a peaceful, remote getaway. Surround yourself with the tranquillity of the mountains, warm up by the wood stove fire or stargaze under the night sky. Thrill seekers can Hike, Bike, snowmobile, ATV, Downhill or Cross Country Ski, Toboggan or Snowshoe the many local trails.
The space
Our hand-crafted rustic log cabin offers three floors nestled against the mountain overlooking the Ski Resort. Three bedroom, two full bath, wrap around deck and wood stove. The full amenity kitchen with charming 8 seating dining table has an open concept to the great room. Private outdoor hot tub overlooking the ski hill. This fully equipped space is ready to entertain your entire family, a small group of friends or just the two of you for a romantic getaway.

One master bedroom with queen and two other separate rooms with one with twin and double bunk beds and a the other a full bed each in the loft to sleep 7 adults comfortably. There are also 2 futons located in the lower common area / den. All bed linens, duvets and pillows are provided.

Additional Amenities Include: Hot tub with mountain views , Games Room with Bar, Pool table, Poker Table, Shuffleboard, BBQ, Woodstove, Firewood for Woodstove, board games, TV with Netflix etc.

Sauna is currently not working


As Hemlock resort is a remote location and on a private grid the power can go out from time to time

There's a BBQ hooked up to the gas line and a wood stove for heat when this happens and there is also a back up generator to keep the fridge and stove going while the power is out.
flashlights are located on each floor.
It adds to the cabins rustic feel.

the garbage depot is located on the hill. please check website for hours as ty can vary.
First bag if garbage is free and any additional is $2. recycling and compost is free.
