We had a nice stay. House was clean inside and out (bring slippers to wear inside) and outside was private with a great view out back. Communication with the management was clear and prompt. Location was great with nearby amenities and fun things to do. A little noisy from the nearby airport but that didn’t bother us. We would recommend staying here.

We’ll be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the ideal place to stay for a multi-day event at Laguna Seca. The house was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The enclosed garage was a huge plus for us (and was one of the main factors in our choice of rental). Supermarket, major pharmacies and gas station were all really close by. Neighborhood was quiet, with only minimal noise from the nearby airport. Late afternoon view from the back patio was lovely. Overall we had a great stay, and we would definitely book again!

This was a great location only a short drive from Monterrey peninsula and historic Hwy 1 drive. Super clean with very detailed instructions.

The house was great. It sits on the end of a cul-de-sac and is very private. Nice view of mountains. We keep the places we rent very clean, so it was not a big deal to put all the furniture coverings back on and leaving it in perfect condition. I have not read the host review of me, but anything other than A would be a shock, and incorrect. Only real negative was that there was a grill advertised so we bought steaks, etc. but there was little to no gas. The backup tank was also empty. I texted but it took a day to get the tanks delivered. We had to cook them inside. The new tanks were eventually delivered. The service you call to advise just endlessly apologizes (this is the new normal) but really does DO ANYTHING. It was a weekend so maybe that had something to do with it. We really enjoyed the house though and overall it was great.

Thank you for your kind review and feedback! We apologize again for the tanks being empty. Please know that we are in the middle of peaks season, which is why it took a while for delivery. Traffic, high levels of occupancy in all of our homes, etc. are all factors here.

Great set up at Monterey

House is very clean and spacious, close enough to all scenic places and stores we wanted to access, yet away from the tourist noises and crowds. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if we are back to the area.

Very comfortable stay

We liked the “no shoes” policy, and the ease of complying (slip-ons in the entry). The view was great, as was the availability of sitting outdoors to enjoy it. The bathtub was a big hit! Very nice property!

This unit was perfect for our multi generational family of 6! The kitchen is spacious and inviting to cook, we used the dining room for family meals and the living room was perfect for movie nights. The entire house was clean and well stocked for all of our needs. And although we didn’t utilize the backyard, it is perfect for outdoor meals and socializing. Finally, the unit sits in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants and grocery stores within 5-10 minutes.

Great place to stay!

We stayed here for a long weekend with my family and two kids. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything you needed! The location is right by the airport but is not loud at the house at all. About 15-20 minutes from Carmel, Pebble Beach, and downtown Monterey which was perfect. Everything felt close and not too far away. The backyard was perfect for my two kids to play and had a beautiful view. Would definitely stay here again!

home away from home for the holidays

Stayed in the Gather and Rest house for the Thanksgiving holidays. Since I was working in Salinas, I was pleased with the distance from my workplace, as well as the close proximity of Monterey and the surrounding area. The views from the backyard were awesome and the home was comfortable for all.

The view from the backyard is very beautiful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. I like the modern decor. Big nice kitchen!The homes are older homes but sweet. The bed is the master bedroom was our main issue. The mattress was horrible, it was very thin, it felt like sleeping on a boxspring. My husband and I both woke up sore and agreed the mattress was horrible. We called and let the company know but they said nothing could be done. We switched to another bedroom and it was better, not great but not as bad. The couch is also not comfortable, it's modular so pieces are coming apart as you are trying to watch a movie with the family.
