Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "Mabuhay"! This 2-level, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home sleeps up to 6 guests.
Guests will enjoy peeks of the ocean over the treetops from multiple rooms in the home.
Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac and tucked inside a shared, gated driveway, this charming 1,849 sf home has it all.
Nestled near Pescadero Canyon, Mabuhay is perfectly located in Carmel - where you can walk about 5 blocks to get to Ocean Avenue and all the downtown Carmel by the Sea shops and restaurants. And just a 15 minute drive will get you to historic old Monterey, Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Living Spaces
The cozy living room has a wood burning fireplace, a comfortable sofa and two upholstered arm chairs in addition to shelves filled with a library of books. An Apple TV provides programming on the flat screen TV (no cable). A dining table and a separate desk provide surfaces for multiple activities.
Kitchen and Dining
The fully-equipped kitchen is full of light and set up for efficiency. Small appliances include a microwave, drip coffee maker, Keurig single-cup coffee maker, blender, toaster and a small food processor.
The dining table is in the living space near the fireplace and you can catch peeks of the ocean while you dine.
A set of chairs and table outside on the brick patio just outside the kitchen is another great space to enjoy meals together.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Upstairs on the main level with the living areas, Bedroom #1 has a queen bed and direct access to the upstairs bathroom with a shower-over-tub. The large closet has a separate vanity sink. The upstairs bathroom is also accessible from the hallway.
Go down the circular staircase to find two more bedrooms:
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a small seating area.
Bedroom #3 has a queen bed and a solarium space which brings in ample sunlight, garden views and access to the garden. A corner with an armchair, ottoman and lamp is a perfect place to kick up your feet and catch up on some reading.
The downstairs hallway bathroom has a shower-over-tub adorned with pretty blue tiles.
Downstairs you will find a dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer and access to the back yard. Conveniences like an iron, ironing board and even an pack n play will have you feeling at home in an instant.
The yard is terraced and a path wraps around the home. A brick terraced patio outside the kitchen has outdoor furniture and if you climb up to the topmost terrace, you can sit on a bench and enjoy sunset views. The yard is fully fenced and the driveway has a metal gate that swings open and closed.
Sorry, Mabuhay does not allow pets.

The home is at the end of a steep, curvy, shared driveway. There is only space for you to park 1-2 modestly-sized vehicles max. Specific parking instructions will be provided when you book this home. The property is not suitable for over-sized vehicles. Additional parking is found one-two blocks away in case you have visitors during your stay.
