Great Family Lake Escape

This retreat is spacious & great for families. The reclining leather furniture is so comfortable, the oversized kitchen table was perfect for socializing over meals/prep, & the checkerboard table was a huge hit! Decorated very nicely and it was a bonus to have a washer & dryer. The boat dock was well maintained.

Perfect getaway

We spent just two nights, but were very comfortable. We had my 97 year old mother with us and even though the cabin is on a steep hillside it was easy for her to get in and out. Nice place!

We have never stayed at a property like this. They show pictures of a big custom fireplace. That is really for the other house on the property. When we showed up there were people at the other house already. We took the "short" walk down to the boat dock which is actually a .20 mile walk on loose rocks and uneven terrain. Good luck getting a loaded cooler down there and back. Items were scattered all over the dock from other property renters so we didnt feel welcome. You have a horrible view while at the converted garage. There is so much cedar in the rental that it took a couple of days to get used to it. I have never had to leave a review like this. The other house on this property is basically the same price but is bigger and has gas grills and griddles. It really was disappointing driving up to this property. The boat dock is your only water access. The shore lines are covered with dead weeds keeping you from accessing the lake anywhere else. Good luck with the cold water in the bathroom sink. I dont like leaving reviews like this but we weren't prepared for this situation. They do warn you that there maybe people at the other property. I would atleast check on that after our experience. Especially since you have to drive past their area to get to yours.
This is part of the short walk to the dock. Wear good shoes. Uneven loose rocks basically throught.
