Weekend getaway

Arthouse on Anson was just perfect for us. We had 4 couples who all thoroughly enjoyed the house and our stay in Orange. It was a lovely home with a beautiful kitchen, family room to share and enjoy together. The gas fire was on to warm the house when we arrived which instantly made you feel welcomed. We would highly recommend the property. Thank you

This house was wonderful but there were a few problems … the stove didn’t work ( we were advised of this the day before arriving) but also the gas log fire wouldn’t ignite , the spa only had 2 jets working & the ducted heating was not connected at all. It was a pretty cold weekend & Meagan from the management team dropped around A couple of heaters . Overall the location security & bedding was fantastic & loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom !!!

Ok with some issues.

We recently stayed at this holiday house with a group of four friends and overall had a good experience. The house is spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with standout features such as underfloor heating in the bathrooms and laundry, and a generously sized garage — all of which we really appreciated.However, a few issues detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay. The main bathroom had a drainage problem in the bath/shower; I had to use a plunger to remove clumps of hair left by previous guests, which was an unpleasant and unexpected task. In the kitchen, we found a moldy bamboo steamer in the cupboard that should have been discarded, and the dinner plates were still wet in the drawers, which could lead to mold or hygiene issues. Several pots and pans were not clean and needed a thorough wash before use.The dishwasher door was also difficult to close — only one of us managed to figure out the correct technique — and the sliding mechanism on the kitchen rubbish bin was stiff and frustrating to use. Finally, the backyard lawn had numerous patches of dog poo, making it unpleasant and unusable.Given that the property was advertised as professionally managed and came with a premium rental price, our expectations for cleanliness and maintenance were much higher. A bit more attention to detail in cleaning and upkeep would go a long way toward making this a top-tier stay.

We'll ensure the drainage issue is fully resolved, the dishwasher and rubbish bin mechanisms are checked and repaired if needed, and that a more thorough quality check is performed before each guest arrives. We truly appreciate your constructive feedback — it helps us improve and provide a better experience for future guests.
