We have 2 Units available. Welcome to our Unit 2 Sunrise.

Our Sunrise unit is located on the upper side of the hill. If you're looking to get away from all the noise and rewind back to nature then this is the place for you.

We have designed your stay so you can enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning out on the deck. Enjoy your lunch & dinner with our outdoor dinning and BBQ. And best of all, relax and enjoy a glass of wine in our outdoor bath with spring water and your choice of bath bomb!

This unit is completely environmental friendly with Solar and Battery operated. Fresh natural spring water and utilisation of gas for hot water and heating.

The place was amazing. The outdoor tub was very pretty and comfortable. The farm fresh eggs they provided was such a nice little touch.

This was such a special stay - highly recommend! Beautiful scenery, extremely clean, and the most thoughtful touches when we arrived (fresh fruit, bread, and other treats in the fridge for us). The tiny house was so much fun to stay in, and our two boys (7 and 9) got great sleep in the bunk room, while my husband and I slept well in the comfy queen bed. Fans helped to keep us cool, and opening all the doors at night cooled us down well. The outside tub was an absolute treat! Would love to stay again. The sound of the highway didn’t bother us at all, felt like white noise. :)

Perfect Getaway

We loved the scenic views and quiet location only a few minutes from a local town and Waitomo Caves. It met all our needs while we explored New Zealand and we were able to have a wonderful evening enjoying the sunset!

Waitomo Overnighter

This unit was a great spot for us to be near to Waitomo Village and explore the surrounding area. Great communication from our host and a lovely clean unit to relax in for the evening. Our USA visitor was also really excited to see the sheep and enjoy the view from the Sunrise unit. A great overnight stay.

View that made me want to live there.

Incredible property with cows in the fields, green as far as the eye can see. An outdoor bathtub that is as perfect as the pictures make it out to be.

Great use of a very small space

Less than 8ft wide with all you need packed in. Has understandable restrictions as it runs off the grid.Stay disturbed by constant loud traffic along the road in front.

Remote wonderful surprise.

I was so surprised at the location of this home on the side of the mountain seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The view was magnificent and the location was right off the highway. It was totally of the grid and electric worked as well as very hot water. well stocked kitchen. we loved it

Perfect place for visiting caves

It's small accommodation but it has everything you need. We really enjoyed outside bath. It was so relaxing. The unit is using solar battery systems so you need to be careful with using electricity but we forgot to turn off outside light through night and had no power next morning. Thankfully Lucas put generator shortly so we had no problem with it. He responded quickly to all my messages so it was very helpful. This place is really convenient to explore waitomo area. Even supermarket only less than 10min away.

Stop looking

Stop looking and book if your dates are available. This property is amazing. The location is convenient, the house itself is small but have everything you need. It's perfect for 2 adults. The solar system worked without issues. Can't tell the difference. The cabin is modern, well maintained and appointed. Wish i had more time there!
