Cute cottage located by a beautiful river. Knotty pine paneling cabinets and walls, reminded me of my grandmas home where I spent a good portion of my childhood. Clean, modern conveniences and stocked well. The owner left homemade cookies and other treats for us in a basket with a thank you card. Very kind! Books to read and cards for rummy. On a large lot with a main house to the left and a smaller home to the right side where others are living or staying. Huge grass area for play and throwing the ball around. Gigantic pine trees and a koi pond in the back of the cottage. Perfect for us two friends for a weekend event at the university, only a 30 minute drive. Local restaurant with all homemade food and pies called Craigs Lucky Logger. Drive through coffee called Fast Lane was the best. Hosts were fast to respond. Recommend!

Cottage stay

The Cottage was very comfortable and a delight to stay at. Beautiful grounds and relaxing visit. Clean and quiet. We will definitely go back! The hosts were pleasant and helpful with directions of the area activities.

We enjoyed our stay at the Vintage Cottage. Very clean and quaint. Very well stocked with everything we needed. A nice welcome package of snacks and goodies were there when we arrived. We would definitely stay there again!

Cottage is highly recommended.

I highly recommend staying at the cottage. It's a warm and cozy retreat, and the area is packed with a variety of activities: waterfalls, hot springs, reservoirs, parks, etc. The cottage itself is spacious, perfect for your kids or dogs to run around. The caretakers are also very nice and accommodating to any needs.

Great cottage

Lovely property. It was just what we needed for our little family vacation. The field was so nice to be able to play fetch with the dog. It is not 100% enclosed so make sure you have a long lead or a well trained pup. A great kitchen (we brought some basic food and cooked there) and a great grill out back. The hatchery did not have fish but tons of parking and easy trails to explore and walk down to the river. AC not in the bedrooms if that matters to you. Beds are super comfy too. Peaceful and a great weekend getaway!
