Lots of dead bugs and worm casings around the edges of the room and the sheets on king size bed had rips at each end. These sheets really need replacing. Other than vacuuming and washing all the floors, the house was great. The heated pool was wonderful. People coming in to clean the pool were great as were the man who cleaned bugs and cobwebs on the structure over the pool. All in all, a great stay!

we love the house, swimming pool, location, neighbors, we will comeback if they let us use the lift for our boat that's the only thing missing. thank you

Great stay but a few deferred maintenance issues.

We enjoy visiting Cape Coral every winter, and happy to have found this rental in short notice, but things started off badly because the checkin directions provided were incorrect. The house checked all the boxes that we look for: good location in Caloosahatchee, on a canal with a heated pool at a reasonable price. On face value, they have made a lot of esthetic improvements with a new furniture and paint. But there were many issues that needed to be repaired. Luckily a maintenance man accidentally stopped by because he was given the wrong address for another job and fixed the broken towel bar, toilet tissue holder that was falling off the wall and garage door that didn’t work but we texted our “liaison” to request they send someone to fix the closet light that obviously had a short and we we assured that a maintenance order had been submitted but no one ever did show up. I was disappointed as I thought Roelens Vacations was a reputable company.

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Waterside Serenade. The house is very comfortable, the neighborhood is very quiet. The location is convenient to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. The communication with the host/rental company is excellent, they are very quick to respond. There is a binder in the house with lots of very useful information such as recommended restaurants, stores, beaches, things to do. The pool over looks a canal, it is very relaxing. Would definitely rent this property again.
