This was an amazing weekend! So relaxing, the surrounds are beautiful, the woods, the stream, we had several barbecues outside. The host is incredibly kind and warm artistic soul.

It rained most of the time there so the small cottage seemed to shrink. The scenery outside was beyond wonderful… the stream…the pathways the out building. The hostess was very interesting and gracious.

This is such a beautiful little house, it really feels like your deep in the woods but in reality you're down the street from grocery stores! Would absolutely book again, and hope to in the future!

Quaint little cottage

This was the perfect little cottage. It felt very quiet and cozy by the river amongst the trees. There are so many charming details in the place, it was everything we needed. Our little cat also had a great time :) We will keep this place in mind for future getaways. Charming host, lovely property!

Amazing stay, and such a nice place. I am confident with my 5 star rating, but I'll mention some things that should be noted for those who are concerned about them.-The bed isn't a bed... it's a futon.-The location of the cabin is on the owners property, and she is about 200 feet away, but it's mostly private, and she is very sweet.-The back of the cabin is only about 20-30' away from a main road, so you can hear the cars.-There is no wood burning stove inside... it's gas.On the flip side, the place is incredibly warm and welcoming, there is a stream just outside, and the sound is amazing, it's clean, and all the amenities are available from pots and pans to towels and blankets. Plus, you're only a 6 minute drive into town where there are grocery stores and restaurants.We stayed in here in the winter time, and we look forward to going back again in the summer months so we can enjoy the 2 decks she has with the outdoor fire pit, and chairs overlooking the stream.

Amazing Rustic French country experience!

My family and I had the most magical time here!!! The place was so very charming, clean and well kept. The host is unlike any other and is top tier! Merci Helene!! She made our time even better and was so attentive. Having travelled enough along with hosting Bay Street clients daily, this lady taught me a thing or two! The grounds are beautiful and exactly as shown (and more!!). The sounds of the Nottawasaga river is so peaceful and relaxing. My girls want to go back already so we will one day soon for sure!

we. did. not stay there was bed only a sofa that opened and could sleep one. there was no place tempt clothes. etc. when sofa opened it was very dirty. hair and crumbs. every where. we want our money back. we did not stay. dont know how anyone could unless they slept on the floor.

No proper bed

The place was jammed full of unnecessary odd items. There was no place to hang clothes, or other items. There was no bed. We had to sleep on a very narrow pull out couch. We got in quite late, didn’t sleep and got up at 5.00am and moved out. We have used your services several time and they all rated in our opinion good to outstanding. Not 1 looser until this one. Did anybody inspect this place? Delaware right now

Cramped, dirty and noisy hobbit dwelling

The outdoor area of this listing is very nice. Well layed stone and the creek providing great atmosphere. Unfortunately the interior is completely unusable. Every surface is covered with tchotkes and there isn't a single hook to hang anything up. The unit had not been cleaned prior to our arrival (or maybe ever). Garbages were full and we had to replace immediately, as well as scrub the fridge which was full of mold. Couches/pull out beds were full of crumbs and hair, as were all the sheets. Faint smell of cat urine, for added effect. Floors, shelving and appliances were also full of hair and dust, making them unusable. We were booked for four nights but only stayed one due to conditions.

It was a COLD weekend and we were in Orangeville for the Sweetheart Hockey Tournament. The gas stove was going when we arrived and our host even put a portable electric heater in the kitchen to make this cozy little cabin comfortable.
