The Family-Friendly Golden Sands Building is located in the heart of Ocean City, and its Amenities are nothing short of amazing! Featuring a Penthouse Level Indoor Pool and Fitness Center, as well as a seasonal Recreation Deck with Outdoor Pool, Children’s Pool, Tiki Bar and Grill and even sometimes Live Entertainment, there is something for everyone in your family to fall in love with! For your convenience, one parking permit is provided upon registration with the building, additional parking permit available at an additional fee, subject to availability. Comfortably sleeping a family of 6, you will love the open layout from the moment you walk in. As you enter, you will first find Bedroom 2, a serene space perfectly placed away from the Living Area so you can melt into one of the 2 Plush Queen Beds, and just relax without being disturbed. In the hall, you’ll find the centrally located shared Full Bath with a Shower/Tub Combo. And while no one likes doing laundry on vacation, you’ll appreciate the convenience of the stacked Washer/Dryer.
At the end of the Hall, you will be in awe of the wide open living space with Kitchen and Dining Area. As you enter the Living Area, you will feel this beautiful home open to simply BREATHTAKING Ocean Views, with a wall of floor to ceiling windows. The Kitchen will delight the Chef in your family - it’s well-stocked with all the conveniences of home to make any mealtime a breeze. Can't do without those sea breezes? Slip out and sip coffee watching the dolphin dance as the Sun rises over the Sea, or enjoy a refreshing glass of wine as the waves crash and the moon lights the sky.
The Living Area is a wonderful place to unwind after a day of fun! Relax on the cozy couch, which is also a Sleeper Sofa, enjoy the Central AC, Free WiFi, Flat Screen TV. Golden Sands Requires guests to register prior to arrival. Registration is $75 for the entire stay and includes 1 parking permit for assigned (assigned June-August) parking space. Registration fee will be charged with final Balance. Additional permits may be available for $20/day subject to availability upon arrival. Registration form must be filled out and returned prior to arrival in order to receive arrival instructions and codes via email. *Outdoor Pool is seasonal*

We're so sorry about the issues you experienced with the door at the end of your stay, Thomas. Our cleaners and inspector were able to get the door to lock. There is a switch on the inside the door that may have inadvertently moved to the incorrect position. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope to have you back in OC soon.

Besides the view the place could use an uplift. Master bathroom toilet moved when using, tiles on floor cracked and caulking around sink separating badly. Kitchen could use a few mixing bowls and ice maker doesn't work. Both bathrooms are showing a lot of wear. Window slats missing and fall off when closing shades.

Potential
1617 has lots of potential. Below is a list of items pertaining to our stay.
- Registration form information that I was required to complete prior to my arrival was not passed onto front desk and had to complete same information upon our arrival.
- Condo had an odor as if someone smoked inside. Someone was smoking because there was a cigarette butt on deck( still there)
- No furniture on patio when we arrived.
- Cigarette butt & fake nail on deck. It’s still on the deck.
- Place needs to be painted. Photo’s on listings brightened the place up and didn’t show the cracked dry wall, spackled walls and primer on walls ready to be painted.
- In master bathroom the wall paper is coming up off the walls.
- Closet needs to be organized.
- Sinks ( vainity & tubs) did not have a drain plug. Kids couldn’t take a bath. At the same time if you accidentally dropped something in the sink it would immediately be down the drain.
- Ice maker didn’t work
- Toilet seat in master bath would not stay up so as a tall male it was awkward for a male going to the bathroom.
- Many of the electrical outlets need to be update because the will not hold a plugged into the receptacle.
- Master room shower/tub has a bubble on the bottoms of the floor. This could be a safety issue and cause an older person to loose balance and fall in the shower.
- Both bathrooms when you shower are dangerously dark and need clear shower liners that would you allow to pull the curtain back to expose light into
