Once a welcoming tasting room, this charming cottage has been thoughtfully transformed into a unique holiday escape, retaining character-filled features from its earlier days, including the original bar that adds to its warm and inviting atmosphere.

Inside, you'll find comfortable furnishings, plush couches, and plenty of space to relax after a day exploring the region. Outside, the large patio provides the perfect setting for morning coffee, leisurely lunches, or evening drinks, complete with outdoor tables and shaded umbrellas overlooking the surrounding vines. During the summer months, guests can also enjoy access to the solar-heated swimming pool, ideal for cooling off on warm Marlborough afternoons.

Conveniently located just 8km from Renwick, 15km from Marlborough Airport, and 21km from Blenheim, The Cellar Door is perfectly positioned for discovering Marlborough's world-famous wineries, cellar doors, cycling trails, and local eateries.

A wonderful place to stay - exceeded our expectations. Clean, warm, quiet and really well equipped. Was awesome to watch the sunrise beyond the vines. We were even welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us on the bench! Highly recommend to everyone.

Internet didn’t work cockroach in cutlery draw . Tv also didnt work due to internet .left early due to these problems and contacted bachcare and was offered a 50 dollar refund. Didnt receive what was advertised

A little haven, idyllically set in the middle of a vineyard. Great heated lap pool. Very good wifi and TV. Owner even left milk and a bottle of his own Sauvignon Blanc in the fridge. We spent quite some hours touring the local vineyards by car and bike.

The ultimate vineyard escape!

What an ultimate experience staying at Misty Cove! After biking around wineries for the day we got to sleep in our own vineyard. After a late swim, we watched the sunset before retreating inside to a large space where we had complimentry wine and sat in front of the fire.

Property was really nice with a luxurious feel.As we arrived late Lighting on the path was an issue as it was very dark. The house was also very cold till the heating caught up but this would not be an issue with an earlier arrival.Overall highly recommend and would stay again.

I wanted to stay in a winery. However, this was a tasting room and as such, it would work would tastings, but not so good for accommodations

Peace and quiet among the vines

A great place to stay for a couple... and, in our case, two small dogs. Everything you need, although no freezer or laundry facility. The fridge is a wine fridge but it's huge and was plenty big enough for our needs. Tons of room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi, large tv. Easy access to Havelock and Queen Charlotte Sound, Blenheim, Picton, and Rapara Beach (no good for swimming but awesome ruggedness), plus heaps of wineries to explore.
