Perfect condo

We really enjoyed our stay in waterscape A619. The condo is very roomy and upgraded. Although the balcony has only a partial beach view, it is very spacious and has a great view of the bay. Check in process was simple. The resort is amazing, with lots for kids to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Fort Walton vacation

Location of property was great. I wish they had more heated pools because it was a bit chilly this weekend. Checkout was a bit early at 9 am. Overall an ok stay in fort Walton.

Waterscape is the Best Family Resort in Destin

We love Waterscape Resort and the condo from Southern Vacation Rentals was perfect for our family. The pools and beach are easily accessible and great. We had an AC issue the first night we were there, but sent a text to Southern first thing Sunday morning and the air was fixed by early afternoon and worked great the rest of our stay. Loved every part of it and will definitely be back. We highly recommend using Southern Vacation Rentals.

Beds are bad

Great location and clean property. However the beds were absolutely terrible. Very very uncomfortable for both families staying. Needs a updo to the condo. Everything is very old.

Condo nice and clean.

Condo was nice, clean and good location. Master bedroom bed was comfortable. Guest bed was terrible and needs replacing. Could have been stocked a little better. Only had one dish towel. Over all great stay and would recommend.

Mildew In shower, a/c door was very dusty, and humidifier was clogged with dust!! No extra blankets on the bed other then the spread. Other then that we enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation

The condo was perfect once we figured out how to get into the garage and where to park. the lobby was closed when we arrived and the instructions were not very specific. It would be helpful to rename the "gate code" to "parking garage " code. Also to be specific aa to what level to park on. We finally figured it out after about 15 minutes of walking around the first level. That was the only hiccup. The location, the pool, beach access were all amazing and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed our stay for the most part

This was our first family vacation to Okaloosa Island and we loved Waterscape Condos and all that it had to offer for our family. There was plenty to do for all ages! I was a little disappointed in our room with some minor things. It seemed to be quickly "cleaned" before our stay and I found previous renters items under the beds and in the drawers. A few of the closet doors were broke, the screen door to the balcony was broke, so we couldn't use it, light bulbs were burnt out in several of the light fixtures, no batteries in majority of the TV remotes, and some kitchen amenities missing. Overall our stay was good and we enjoyed ourselves, I think I may try to look for a different room next time but in the Waterscape Condos.

It was okay. Not the Best.

We enjoyed our time at this nice resort. Facility is nice for families with kids. Really liked the lazy river, pools and kids areas. Weather was not the best but enjoyable. Condo was run down and looked heavily used. Needs a major face lift. New paint needed, coaches very old, doors barely holding on and most doors don't lock. Kitchen was not very well stocked-either bring your own frying pans or the 2 they have won't do the job. I brought my own knives, soup pot. Musky smell in the condo was probably due to carpets being old. Needs nicer decor, mattresses were very uncomfortable , dining table needs to be replaced or repainted. Most chairs were shaky and old. Our family members had other condos at Waterscapes and we were jealous of how nice theirs were. Please update the condo so that we can keep coming back and refer families there as well. Sorry for the negative review of condo, but we expected a nicer place to stay.

Great location.

We enjoyed our stay, although the beds, all of them, were extremely uncomfortable, they were hard, and every time you move they would squeak. Also, the vent in the master bathroom rattled all night and all day long if it was windy, kept us up several nights. This condo is on the 6th floor which was fine as long as the elevators were working, which they weren’t many times. Overall the condo is very spacious and big enough for a large family. I would suggest new beds and some minor maintenance and it would be perfect!

Great place!

We really enjoy this condo and the property amenities. No real complaints. We could have used more kitchen linens (only had 1 hand towel) but admittedly we did not make it to the lobby when it was open to request more. Great vacation spot!

The resort was fabulous!!! The condo was fine I had zero complaints besides the mattresses are horrible. I brought foam toppers because I read the online reviews, and trust me they are being nice. Aside from that we had no issues. Fun place to stay and management was great!!! All questions and concerns were answered promptly and it was an above average facility.

Great But Needs Upgrades

Loved the resort and location of the condo. The mattresses need replacing. My parents slept in the queen bedroom, and my dad slept on the couch because the mattress was so awful. Sheets need replacing. The condo was still covered in hair and dust from the previous folks. I spent 30 minutes cleaning after we got there. Our family will definitely be back next summer!

Such a great family vacation experience !

I stay every year at Wattersxape with VRBO. I read the reviews of this particular one that the beds needed replaced , however we were very comfortable. I had no issues.

Our 3rd visit to waterscape

We love waterscape! This was our 3rd visit and we have stayed in 3 different rentals. Gave this rental 3 stars because the bed mattresses are in severe need of replacement and the kitchen is missing basic items such as a frying pan. Ever tried frying an egg in a saucepan? Otherwise it’s really nice with a great view of the boardwalk, pier, and can see the beach from the balcony.

Overall the property was good. The TV in the master bedroom didn't work. I emailed guest services and was told there would be someone there the next day. They never showed up. The couch and loveseat need to be updated.
