The price and location was the best thing with this property, but the property itself is old and has had very little money spent on it to upkeep, multiple things wrong, would not stay there again

Beautiful Hat Head

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in Hat Head for a wedding so needed a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property.This rental meet out needs and although it was relatively clean it could do with a thorough clean especially in the main shower recess. A bit of maintenance and this property could achieve a higher rating as it is in a great position- easy walk to creek and beach access.Unfortunately we also had a little mouse visitor running through the house which was a bit off putting. Don't leave any food uncovered!!The oven did not work but the BBQ was great.

Property was ok. I clearly didn’t pay attention to the fact there was no linen, towel etc included when booking. I did see the email before getting to the property. There was also almost nothing in the way of provisions already at the home I.e. no tea/ coffee sugar etc. Beds aren’t all that comfy. The gas hot plates are not working well except front right, nearly lost some eyebrows. Given the cost of the house and what we had to take with us we decided it probably would have made more sense to have just booked a camp site saved the money and taken comfy beds. House is otherwise in a great spot and hat head is beautiful but save yourself the bother and book a house that actually has things you expect when booking a house.

We found the house and property was neglected and very little maintenance. Most slidding doors were stuck and off runners which we had to fix. Bathroom cold tap not working at all. Shower tap loose and fell off twice. Front patio polycarb sheets broken and rattling non stop in the breeze. Missing tiles in front patio and loose floor boards making it unsafe. Advertised with wifi but password didint work. Send a msg to owneer and they replied 3 days later once we had left. So we had no internet connection the whole time. Location however was good. If you stay here make sure to bring dishwashing tablets, soap, paper towls and toilet paper.

Nice little house in a good position. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, however would have been nice to have complimentary tea/coffee sugar. We also had to use the laundry shower as showerhead in main bathroom had insufficient pressure (only a dribble) and no hot water. An update to the bathroom amenities and also outdoor seating would make this house a beauty. This is our forth holiday to hat head and we love this little beachside spot!
