We spent an amazing week relaxing beside a lake. The property was perfect. It was comfortable and clean with plenty of room for all 12 of us, including a toddler and 2 dogs. Thoughtful touches like a high chair and toddler dishes were a lovely touch. I can't say enough good things about this property.

We six women thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Osprey’s Nest for many reasons: the bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable; the kitchen was well equipped, spacious and organized; the house was very clean and the surroundings were pleasant and quiet. It was easy to reach Lana for a concern that was immediately dealt with in an efficient manner. She had many helpful suggestions to make our stay fun and interesting.We loved staying here for the location as well … close to Westport, Newboro and Perth which all have much to offer .This is a beautiful, quiet, well-maintained property that allowed us our space when needed and provided a great living room and dining area for more communal times.Highly, highly recommended!

This was the perfect spot for a family gathering. There was room for the adults to spread out and visit as well as room for the children to play. I had a few questions for our host while we were there and she answered immediately. We would definitely book here again.

A perfect getaway

This was a lovely property. The place was very welcoming and comfortable. Outside the decks and dock were wonderful. The lake was gorgeous and the stars at night were stunning.

End of summer getaway at Osprey Nest

We had a great time. The home was very clean, beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. It was a very tranquil setting. Lana was a great host always very responsive and informative.

Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The layout was perfect for our family. The cottage was clean and Lana was very responsive to anything we needed. I would definitely want to go back to this location. Thanks for all you did for us. We greatly appreciated it.

We were not there much because we had a family wedding on Saturday, but we did enjoy the peacefulness and the view of the lake as well as a well supplied cottage my only complaint was the coffee pot. It needs to have some vinegar run through it because it’s quite clogged up and took forever to make coffee other than that. Everything was great.

Great house, beautiful location

We had a lovely time staying here -- it was spacious, clean, and perfectly situated. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as cookware and even a few staples like ketchup and salad dressing (we left a few more). The beds were all unbelievably comfortable -- so comfortable that I want one of them for my home and also don't, because I think I would never get out of bed. The dock is perfect for sitting on or launching a SUP or kayak (a little less perfect for swimming due to the weedy shoreline but it was lovely to jump off of our SUP further out). The firepit right next to the water is surrounded by a nice pebble circle, and there are even black raspberries next to the dock! All in all, we had a great time in this lovely home.

Wonderful week at Osprey Nest

Lana is a terrific host. Her interactions were prompt and courteous. She would follow up her communications to make sure i received them and that we had everything we needed. The property was as described. Boat dock was very large and solid. We had large boats docked on both sides with no issues. Kids swam nearly every day right off the dock. Home interior is well laid out for large groups to allow activities like card games, board games, etc and still have plenty of space for meal prep. Beds are very comfortable. Will return for another trip.

The home is nestled on the lakefront off of a gravel road with non-existent traffic other than the local neighbors. There's sufficient parking for two vehicles and a boat trailer, although it is tight if you have a larger vehicle such as a truck. The lake views from the living room are great and the room sizes are very accommodating for guests. We enjoyed the outdoor deck space and played card games out there while enjoying lake views and looking over our docked boats. The bedrooms are well appointed and have comfortable modern foam mattresses. The kitchen had nearly everything we needed to prep 2 large meals for 6 guests and seat everyone comfortably at the large table with bench seats.No question, we will stay here again, maybe even this Fall! Thanks for the great communication and accommodating us!
