What an amazing, adorable place.. Ive stayed a lot of places and never wrote a review. They deserve it and plan to rent again.

Amazing Place

We are retired military living in Washington DC, and this was the perfect place. It was stunning and gorgeous, everything that you could want. The house is immaculate, the neighbors were great, and the lake view is beautiful. If you’re looking for somewhere, that is fantastic this is the place. Our family absolutely loved it. We brought our own kayaks and kayak the lake in the mornings and floated in the lake in the afternoons. It’s the perfect place to relax.

Perfect getaway.

This house was just perfect! They literally thought of everything, and the house was extremely clean. The lake and fire pit were so much fun! We will definitely be bank!

We had an amazing stay at this property! There were enough beds for 7 of us (only two had to share the king everyone else had their own bed). The property manager was so kind in their communication and helpfulness. The place was stocked with amenities and everything we needed for our meals and snacks. The water was perfect and very relaxing way to spend a weekend with friends.

We had a great time at this Montpelier Lake House! The kitchen and bathrooms were well provisioned and the whole house was very clean. Everything looked newly renovated on the inside and outside. The sun porch was great for its brightness and a great place to play cards. Communication with Shawn was great and the response was quick.

We had a great stay at the property! My group of 8 - friends from high school and earlier - meet every summer for a long weekend and act like we are 16 again. This location proved to be a perfect choice for our Summer 2026 trip: *bedroom set up slept 8 comfortably - the bed set up worked for us, as we have no issues sharing rooms and beds (queen or king sized) as needed*quality bed linens and comfy mattresses*attentive and communicative hosts-we needed to reach out for a times and over the weekend and our communications were answered promptly and with kindness. They even left us a nice welcome note and a little gift which will now be a part of every gals weekend going forward!*there were lots of games (cornhole and jenga) and outdoor chairs in the shed to use.*many places to sit together and socialize. Especially the air conditioned porch area which was pretty sound proof from the rest of the house in case people were up late or early. Honestly, we spent the most amount of time on the porches and in the lake*SUPER CLEAN-everything was new, and the hosts truly thought of everything. The listing pictures are very accurate*VERY well stocked kitchen - they even had cheese knives and a frother!We like to pack everything we can in and hunker in for a fun weekend. We cook, float, hang out and have a great time. Thanks for a terrific destination for our weekend away. This is the first time we have ever talked about returning to a place! It was ideal for us!
