La Villa Olive Grove 2 est une charmante villa en pierre située près du joli village de Polis. Son intérieur traditionnel, avec ses murs en pierres apparentes et ses sols carrelés, dégage une agréable ambiance de cottage. Profitez d’un plongeon rafraîchissant dans la piscine accueillante ou prenez un bain de soleil sur les terrasses environnantes, qui constituent des endroits parfaits pour se détendre. Le village de Polis, situé à un peu plus de 5 minutes en voiture, est idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir la cuisine locale. Le port de pêche et la plage de Latchi se trouvent à moins de 5 minutes en voiture ; vous y trouverez des commerces et des restaurants en bord de mer proposant les prises fraîches du jour. Le Wi-Fi et la climatisation/le chauffage dans les chambres sont inclus.

La Villa Olive Grove 2 bénéficie d’un cadre champêtre charmant, entre le village de Polis et le bord de mer de Latchi. Vous trouverez des restaurants et des cafés locaux à moins de 10 minutes à pied de la villa, et la plage municipale de Polis n’est qu’à 20 minutes à pied. Que vous préfériez utiliser votre propre voiture ou prendre un taxi, la charmante vieille ville de Polis se trouve à un peu plus de 5 minutes en voiture ; sa place principale regorge de cafés traditionnels et de tavernes. La station balnéaire de Latchi, avec son joli port, n’est qu’à 5 minutes en voiture ; elle abrite de nombreux restaurants de poisson proposant la pêche du jour. Pour ceux qui recherchent une ambiance un peu plus animée et une plage de sable, rendez-vous à Coral Bay en empruntant une route pittoresque de 40 minutes à travers l’intérieur de l’île.

The cottage was so cozy and clean, it was stocked with all the necessities and more. We enjoy cooking our own meals and the cottage had everything we needed plus our hosts were close bywhen we needed extra towels and linens but we still had our privacy.We loved the fire pit and near by walking trails. The sunsets were incredible, gorgeous view! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay was incredible! The home is so cute and beautiful inside with a view of the water. The hosts were quick to respond and helpful. We were also close to the town to explore as we wanted. I would highly recommend !

We really enjoyed our stay at the jellybean, the living area and kitchen were nice and roomy, but the bedrooms were smaller, and the bathroom was tight. The shower was square and maybe 28 inches deep and wide- which was a bit challenging when there were no niches or shelves for shampoo. Shower leaked as well. It is beautifully decorated and had wonderful views.

A very nice property overlooking the sea. It’s a new building so everything inside is fresh, clean and well appointed. Campfire was lit before we arrived from our day of hiking. Very friendly host chatting with us. The area around Twillingate has great hiking with dramatic, rugged views of coastline. So are iceberg sightings, however we arrived a little late in the season for that. Lots of artists and crafters in the area as well. I would highly recommend Crows Nest Cafe for lunch. Freshly made soups and baked goods daily.

The Orange Jellybean cottage was a treat to stay in. The cottage is beautifully decorated, virtually brand new and extremely clean. The living room, kitchen and dining area are spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are cute. We enjoyed the Adirondack chairs on the porch and the view of the water from the porch and living room. I was sorry that we weren’t staying longer.

It was our first time visiting Twillingate. We stayed for 8 nights. Jon and his family were amazing and so helpful. The check in was easy. It was a good size and clean space for the 2 of us. There was a second room with bunkbeds, where we put our luggage - which worked for us. It has a nice view of the water from the porch. Easy & close drive into the main part of town. We had a great time - this was a cute spot that had great attention to detail inside. We would definitely stay again.

Orange Jellybean

This was our first visit to twillingate and were only in town for two nights. This accomodation was perfect. We just wanted enough space to relax, sleep and function comfortably and this checked the box. Checking in was great and the decorative touches were modern yet representative of Newfoundland. After a long day viewing Icebergs we had a relaxing campfire at the scenic firepit in front of the orange Jellybean. We would stay here again 1000%

Had a nice time and we got to see a few icebergs. Some very close by and some far out in the ocean. The cottage was new and clean, but very small. No washer or dryer, no A/C, no closets, no dressers and no room in the shower!!

Amazing stay innTwillingate

The cottages impressed upon first entry, with a collective “Wow” expressed from the family. The cottage has an immediate feel of luxury with the style and charm of a Newfoundland Jelly Beans house. We were fortunately enough to meet the property manager who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the area. Nothing seemed too much and I would highly recommend catching your own cod for a local cook up and take a short stroll to the hill top to take full advantage of the views over Twillingate. One of our favourite places to stay over a 8 days holiday of Newfoundland - make sure that you book at least 3 days to take in the sites of the area. Highly recommended.

Water Issue should be disclosed

The property is great ! The water issue absolutely ruined my entire weekend. The water smelled terrible and I felt dirtier after a shower than before I got a shower. I would not recommend staying at the location until the water issue is resolved.

This is a nice new cottage. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. The living room is quite comfortable, but could use a few tables - one between the chairs and one for the coach. At this price, one shouldn’t have to put their coffee cup, etc on the floor. The bedrooms are small with comfortable beds. The bathroom is very small. New pictures of the view should be included as there is now a new building in front of this one. Contact with the owner on VRBO ended within 24 hours of check out. Communication with him was great! This is the only way to send my feedback now.
