Oh wow! This place was wonderful. Beautifully done inside and out. Lovely view of the Bay from the back deck, and everything you could possible need was provided. From the moment you walk in the door, you know this is a home that is well cared for. Harrison was very communicative and did everything to ensure our three night stay was more than satisfactory. We couldn't have asked for anything more. I wish we could have stayed longer in that beautiful part of Newfoundland. Thank you for everything Harrison. Sending best wishes from Calgary

This is a lovely modern home right on the water. The large back porch is facing west so you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. It’s an easy 50 minute drive to Twillingate.

This is a great place to stay on the water! Its also a great launching point to many of the areas that people enjoy seeing in Newfoundland. The owners kept us well informed! Overall, it was a great stay!

Birchy Bay Retreat

Beautiful, clean and well situated for our trip to Twillingate. The host was excellent to deal with - got back to me immediately with any questions I had. Lovely view overlooking the bay - perfect for relaxing after a day of touring. Highly recommended!

Great house in Birchy Bay

We stayed overnight on a trip across the island. It was a clean, well stocked home with everything needed. It was close to Nick's Place restaurant for dinner.

We had a great time! This was an awesome place for us. We can't give it a better review! The rooms and beds were perfect. Kitchen was great with all we needed and more. The back deck and view of the sunsets were spectacular! Washrooms, again perfect! internet/ wifi perfect! We watched a movie and it was wonderful. The Alexa in the kitchen was a great bonus for music while we were playing games. I would highly recommend this wonderful spot!!

The property was well maintained and the house looked great. The layout was really good with the dining room and kitchen next to the large cedar deck facing the bay. There was a really nice view and the sunsets were very picturesque. The kitchen was actually too well outfitted and had way more then everything we needed. There was also a washer and dryer. TVs in every room with subscriptions to a few premium streaming services.We stayed here for several days as the location for us was fairly central to our needs being about 45 mins of a beautiful drive to Twillingate and a half hr to Lewisport. There was also restaraunt called Nicks Place about 3km north that served meals with huge portions that resulted in lots of leftovers we reheated for breakfast. There is a nice fairly long beach with a fair amount of sand and the odd piece of beach glass and a few park benches in the center part of town. Also a few playgrounds one with a swimming hole.About 1.5hr east Banting memorial beach close to Musgrave Harbour made a greqt day trip. Half way on the drive at the Esso in North Gander Bay is fantastic ice cream. The host was very helpful and promptly replied to messages.

Nan and Pops house was a hidden gem. Beautiful home in a lovely waterfront setting! The host has thought of everything! Truly a home away from home. Highly recommended!
