Wholesome family stay in nature

The property had the most serene sunrises. Overall, a great stay. Outside sewage left slight odor in yard, but that’s really the only thing I could complain about. Loved the room setups!

Visit to Hot Springs

Our stay on the lake during our visit to Hot Springs was excellent. The property was clean and the location great. Communication was quick and timely. I recommend this rental to anyone with a family or big group looking for a place away from the noise of Hot Springs.

Perfect getaway home

Perfect home for a vacation with family. My kids loved it. Plenty of space for many activities. The playground is a plus if you have little ones.

Wonderful Stay

The pictures did not do the property justice. The place is very nice. The place was clean and spacious for our crew. We loved the deck overlooking the river. The only downfall was it is not close to restaurants or grocery options. Plan accordingly and you will have a great trip.

Great location and friendly, helpful host. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. We caught several fish from the river and spent most of our time enjoying the outdoors, as the property provided so many options to do so. My family and I will be back!

Overall the place was nice. There were a few things to mention. There was a sewer smell, occasionally. The water in the hot tub was green and the sheets in the master bedroom wouldn't stay on the bed. Could use the elastic sheet stays.

The house had a smell at first. We had to wash all towels before we used them because they smelled bad. The patio cushions were dirty (we didn’t use) and the patio had many spider webs and spiders. We had to buy raid and spray before we would sit outside. We did use hot tub and that was very nice. The beds were comfortable.

I loved the house great lakeside view me and my family enjoyed it a lot very beautiful home and I would recommend anyone that are visiting in hot springs area to book. Great communication through out my visit very nice personality. Definitely 5 star rating ⭐️ I will be booking again.

Quiet and family oriented

We enjoyed our stay. The kids had plenty of space to run off some energy. The house was equipped with everything you need. The only thing we encountered was what seemed to be a leak or odor from the septic system. The odor was outside we did not smell it on the inside of the house.

Decent Stay

The cabin was pretty clean when we arrived and provided plenty of bathroom towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap, etc. Early check in was allowed and the host seemed kind and accommodating. The property backs up to the river and is a nice piece of land conveniently located about 25 minutes from Hot Springs. Smaller children will enjoy the swingset located in the front of the property. However, there are some items we feel need immediate attention: STRONG septic smell on back patio where we had planned to spend a lot of time (property has obvious run-off issues and a “septic spring”), the bathtub appears to have a clog, loose steps on deck, and three of the four doors would not deadbolt. You can tell the property was redone nicely to be an income property, but has a lot of wear and is in need of some repairs. For the cost, including the absurd fees, of $322 a night, we were underwhelmed. We have rented nicer properties in better locations, sometimes featuring more amenities, for less. Some routine housecleaning items were overlooked. No house instructions/check out instructions to be found, and hot tub struggled to keep temp. I was told I should have texted for instructions. The number of bedrooms in this house warrants a full-size coffee maker.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-A septic inspection is scheduled, and a plumber has already cleared the drains to address the slow-draining shower you noted.-The steps and deadbolts will be inspected and secured to ensure safety throughout the property.-The hot tub’s temperature settings can sometimes be tricky. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed addressed. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home and hot tub.-We currently offer a Keurig machine with coffee pods, but we will keep your suggestion for a full-size coffee maker in mind.-Check-in and check-out instructions are included in the pre-stay email sent by Evolve.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
