The property is as shown. Expectations were a little low. The only AC was in the kitchen area so the bedrooms were extremely hot and stuffy, as the weather was very humid.Just an FYI, the cell service was not good. We had issues in the house and didn't connect till after we left the property. The location is far from any amenities, so stock up! The outdoor space is maintained.

I’m sorry your experience was not a great one. Our other guests have had great experiences here as is reflected in past reviews. We have no control over your cell service provider but do provide wifi for other means to communicate with others.

We had a great stay at the Lodge overall. It was very clean, well-maintained, and the host was excellent with communication throughout our trip. The property had everything we needed, and we especially enjoyed the backyard fire pit. We also appreciated that it was pet-friendly and had air conditioning.There were a couple of things worth noting for future guests. The Wi-Fi was somewhat unreliable during our stay, and because the lodge is located just off a major road, there is consistent traffic noise. The air conditioning is provided by a window unit, which kept the main area comfortable, but the bedrooms could still get quite warm despite the overhead fans.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it to be a comfortable place for our vacation. If the road noise and warmer bedrooms aren’t deal-breakers for you, it’s a great option with a responsive host and a clean, welcoming space.

The home was very cozy and very neat and nicely decorated. The place was spacious with a fully stocked kitchen and a nice dining area. We loved the outdoor area with a firepit and beautiful walking trails. We were close to the wineries and we had a great time at the Lighthouse Theatre.We highly recommend this beautiful place. Our host was great to communicate with .

Great place to stay

Check in directions were easy to follow. The home was spacious, immaculately clean, and well appointed, particularly in the kitchen. We did all of our own cooking, and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive, and even checked in to make sure our power had not gone out during a storm. Recommend :-)

Ranch style getaway

Five of us were involved in a softball tournament in nearby Simcoe. Great spot to stay! 20 minutes to Simcoe. Spacious house that was spotless. Wonderfully gracious hosts whongot out of their way to make you feel welcome. Great communication, too.

Great Lodge at Turkey Point

Thank you Rosanne for the wonderful stay! We had a geat time at the lodge. It had all the necessities we could need and the place was very spacious and comfortable. The woods in the back yard were beautiful and we took full advantage of the grill and fire pit area. The only thing I would suggest is supplying a knife sharpener. Also, the firewood was damp this time of year so we had to buy our own, but otherwise everything was great!

Rosanne is an amazing host. She's incredibly responsive and was there to answer any question that I had. This was my first VRBO experience. My only comment we were expecting an air conditioned house. When we arrived we found an in window air conditioning unit. Fortunately it wasn't too hot at night because the property is on a fairly busy road. Each room has great fans to keep rooms cool at night so we didn't have to open windows (not sure if they could be opened TBH). Other than that I always bring kitchen essentials wherever I travel (ex-Chef). The kitchen had plenty of back up items that did the trick. The backyard is fantastic. BBQ lit on the first try. Turkey Point Beach is an easy drive away. We would definitely consider rebooking again! Very close to Burning Kiln winery.
