The shallow, sandy shoreline offers a safe swimming area for kids. Bearskin State Trail is .3 miles away and offers 21 miles for walking/biking/snowmobiling. End the day relaxing around the lakeside fire pit.

The property was very nice with beautiful lake views and vacation amenities. I was provided with timely and easy check-in information, and the property was as described. While it is still a cabin, the interior is modern and comfortable. Most of all, I was pleasantly surprised by how much was provided with the cabin, from towels and washcloths to marshmallow roasting forks to a rowboat and paddleboards. I had to work during my stay, and the Wifi was fast and reliable. It's also kid-friendly, and one of the bedrooms has children's books. There was even a fireworks show on the lake the night of July 4. Plenty of wildlife to observe - muskrat, bald eagles, osprey, turtles, loons, and ducks galore. We didn't catch any fish, but we did see Perch in the weeds and Musky sunning themselves. Overall, this cabin is a lovely, peaceful place to unwind without sacrificing any modern amenities.

Cozy updated cabin with beautiful view of the lake

Clean modern cabin with everything needed to enjoy our stay. The weather was a bit cool for swimming or skiing but fishing was good, even right off the dock. Definitely worth another visit in the future.

Wonderful property right on the lake! Cabin is very clean and newly updated. There are three cabins on this property and they are pretty close together, but each cabin has its own dock and boat so if you don’t want to interact with your neighbors, you don’t have to. Luckily, when we stayed both of the other families staying were very nice and we had a great time hanging out! My only feedback is the bath towels provided were nice looking and clean, but did not dry well at all. Very strange. We also ran out of toilet paper while we were there.

Hello. Thanks for your review. As new owners, we really appreciate this feedback. You're right about the towels not drying well. We've switched them out with new ones that are 100% cotton, and we have also added beach towels for guest use. We'll be sure to have additional toilet paper available. We hope you'll stay again soon!

Cozy cabin on peaceful lake

The cabin was as advertised and had the little touches to let you know the owners take good care of the property. We enjoyed the campfire, private pier and rowboat. The loons, ducks and eagles made for great wildlife on what was a quiet and peaceful lake. Would definitely recommend for a small family that wants to spend time outdoors and be near the Minocqua area.
