This house was exactly what were looking for, centralized in the u.p. to pictured rocks, whitefish point, kitch-iti-kipi, garlyn zoo. Held 8 of us, only one bathroom though, I think that would be my only stopper with coming here again. The people in Germfask and surrounding areas like Moose du Nord, mugs, Moofinfries, the people were great, I would definitely come back to Germfast, next time for orv stuff. Oh, maybe see if we could turn the back lights off so we can watch the stars!

Germfask is a perfect central location to enjoy all of the neighboring UP attractions. We had a great stay and enjoyed the spacious and peaceful house!

The place is acceptable and listed as is. Nothing has changed in two years of our last visit. Coffee pot was leaking water so I replaced it with a new one. Definitely could use better pans and cooking utensils. Thank you. Was happy with our stay.

Thank you also for swapping out the leaking coffee pot, we're grateful for that and will be sure to keep a backup on hand in the closet going forward. We've also heard the note on pans and cooking utensils and have already purchased new pots and pans for the house, which we'll be bringing up on our next visit. Had to rewash dishes when we arrived ,we also cleaned the shelves in the fridgerator. Make sure to bring your own cooking pans and even a griddle as they are rough and scratched teflon pans.Other than that the home was great ,maybe some ac for your summer months.I would rent this home again , very spacious and quiet. It was relaxing .

Enjoyed our stay. Good value , good home base for taking in the Sites of the U.P . without the premium price of Munising , Marquette . Whitefish point , Manistiqe, Tahquanemon Falls and the Soo Locks Put us in the middle of our destinations .

Quiet getaway

Had a lovely time at this property. It was clean and quiet. It's next to a nature preserve so it was quite serene. Perfect spot to relax and disconnect from everything.

Spacious home in beautiful country setting

We had a very nice time staying at this home in Germfask. The Jolly is a great place for breakfast as well as dinner with the bar and extremely friendly staff just up the street. We would love to come and try this area/home again during the summer!

Nice place

Overall great place. Very easy check in and everything in the house was as advertised. It has a circular driveway with plenty of space for a trailer or multiple vehicles. The only problem was the sidewalk wasn’t shoveled when we got there.

Worth it

Quiet, clean and chic property. You have all you need for a pleasant stay. Close with 30-45 minutes drive to outdoor attractions. Great value for the price. For the area bring your bug spray during the summer

Touring the UP

It was a great location for all the things we wanted to see in the U.P. The house was accurately described and fit the 6 of us well. There was quite a bit of pet hair in the house and the sheets didn't fit properly on one of the beds, so they kept coming off in the night. Hopefully they can get ones with deeper pockets and do a more thorough job cleaning.

Property and house as posted. Disappointed grass was too long for first 2 days which was not fun when walking our dog out in the long grass. Made for a much buggier experience. Got mowed on 3 rd day. I expect bugs, however wasps hovered around door and of course got inside. Had to kill a lot of wasps. Couldn’t enjoy the deck because of a wasps nest. Place was nice overall but kitchen could use a good cleaning along with pans and such. A lot of grease on some pans that weren’t cleaned well. Last I will also say this is the first time I’ve ever checked into a Vrbo home and hosts didn’t check in to see if we made it inside and everything ok. All else was ok

Thank you for the detailed feedback, and we're glad the property and location lived up to expectations overall. We're sorry the grass was longer than usual for the first couple of days; the lawn care company follows a set schedule, and it was addressed by day three. The property has recently been sprayed for wasps, though as with any rural setting, some insect activity is expected. We appreciate you pointing out the kitchen and pans, and we'll be looking into that further to make sure everything is left to a high standard for future guests. We're happy to hear the rest of the stay went smoothly and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
