The house was the perfect place for multi generations of our family while we were in town for a family funeral. It is spacious & offered plenty of separate areas to relax and a 12 chair table to gather. Loved the outdoor areas too & views of the lake.

We loved the game room and its location so those who needed to sleep could! The water things in the shed were very convenient and in great shape. Todd communicated so well and was flexible as far as a late check-out. The big table held all family members, which is a unique and wonderful experience for us. Our family loved our time here!

We rented for our Mother who just turned 85. We all had a very good time. Would recommend and plan on returning. Was very relaxing and peaceful. All rooms were clean. Kayaks, fishing poles and life jackets in the shed. This was a great time had by all!! Thank you so much for alloqing us to stay at your beautiful cottage!!

Wonderful place if you looking for a great vacation home with family and friends. We have something or the other to do or engage with for all ages.Lot of space, nice and clean, very well maintained outdoor lake and grill area. Away from a big city so plan accordingly, anyways we don’t need to go out Would love to come back during summers to enjoy all the amenities and vibes of the city.

Great Lake house

Very nice location on the lake. We really enjoyed the campfires and the comfy beds. The host Todd was also very accommodating to our special requests. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had such a great time at the lake! The house was spacious and fun. Our family enjoyed the game room, fishing off the dock, swimming, and kayaking. The house was clean and the host was both available and friendly. The kitchen was also well stocked for making meals. Thank you for helping us make beautiful family memories!

This was an amazing house to vacation in!!

Our family had an amazing time at this lake house! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at! The house manager Todd was amazing and worked with us all the way through! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend! It made my nephew's wedding amazing and my parents who are their '80s so happy! Thank you

This house was exactly what we needed. The view of the lake was breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the dining table and from the back patio. The big table was great for playing games. The family room in the back was great for watching movies because it was a little darker. The owner provided lots of extras and provided things we wanted/needed but didn't think to pack. All of the rooms were clean and spacious. I have only two negative comments. I was disappointed by the path we had to take to reach the house. It looked like a boat graveyard. In addition, I felt like I was in a bit of a fishbowl at the house because the nosy neighbors in fishing boats were constantly looking in the window at us.

Perfect Get-away

Excellent and prompt communication. Comfortable beds. Great views. Water pressure was perfect. My favorite place to sit was in the living room where there are 2 chairs looking out onto the lake. Used to live on this chain. So, if you rent a boat you’ll enjoy going into Steinbarger and Tamarack. And, then in the opposite direction it will take you down the Elkhart river for a scenic ride.

Wonderful Lake Front Getaway

We were a group of 4 adults (2 over 80). The house has pretty much everything you need for a weekend or longer. Really enjoyed sitting outside in front of the lake and the living room was cozy for evening chats. The surrounding area has plenty to offer (recommend Sylvan Lake Cellars for lunch or dinner; very relaxed pub-like atmosphere). Todd was excellent at communicating how to check in and offering helpful tips for the area. Check out was one of the easiest I've ever encountered for a home rental (just washing up dishes and stripping the beds/placing linens on top--simple things you would do as a guest in anyone's home). I would definitely recommend choosing this location if you're looking for a casual, peaceful getaway!
