This is one of those rare properties where the pictures simply can’t capture how great it is in person. The home and setting exceeded our expectations in every way, and our family truly enjoyed every minute of our stay.The host and everyone involved with the property were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. Everything was thoughtfully handled, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our visit.And major bonus points for the diesel generator and Starlink! We experienced a significant island-wide power and cell outage during our stay, and both worked flawlessly. The generator automatically kept the house running, and Starlink kept us connected when cell service went down. Those are amenities you might overlook when booking, but we were incredibly thankful to have them.We had a fantastic family vacation and would absolutely stay here again. If you’re considering booking this property, don’t hesitate. It’s even better than it looks in the photos.

Had issues with the oven heating up to desired temperature. Had a Chef come and cook dinner and he suggested that the homeowner invest in a new stove, sharp knives, decent cutting boards. As the Chef was slicing the beef tenderloin, plastic pieces from the cutting board got all over the meat. Needing additional bath towels took over three days to be delivered. , I’d suggest having additional towels in each bathroom for your guests. This would save housekeeping from having to make the long trek out to Little Exuma.Someone knocked on my son’s bedroom window at 11:20 PM, gave us all quite the scare. Make sure that the doors are locked.Other than that, house is beautiful, lots of space for our large group of 11. The view and beach is absolutely amazing! My family and I would definitely come back to Suma Sands Villa, every beach house has its issues and hopefully the next time we come there is a few new amenities.

Thank you - I’m very grateful for your positive words and I can address the other items: Once notified the oven was slow to heat, we immediately ordered a replacement by boat (stores don't stock these on island) so we couldn't replace immediately. It's since been replaced. I’m sad to hear a chef got plastic on the food. We do wish they had used more discretion to be more gentle or use a different cutting surface. We keep extra supplies in the basement, and if we'd known in the moment rather than after, we would have swapped them right away. We'll have the team replace these. I’m glad the team made it right with the towels. We stock homes based on the guest count in the reservation, and your trip had more guests than reported. We'll instruct the team to leave extra towels for future bookings to avoid this happening. As for the visit: You requested that the AC be looked at and my understanding is the team notified you that an AC repair had been called, but he showed up later than expected. For context: a mass brown-out on the island created high demand for AC repairmen across a large number of villas, with some crews working until 3am to support guests. We send teams immediately when available (to ensure guest comfort). Rest assured that Exuma is extremely safe and you were in no danger. We're grateful for how hard our service providers work to serve the island. We'll reiterate best practices with them for late-night calls. We hope to have you back in paradise soon!

This house was perfect. Most amazing location, view, and staff! Judy was always very quick and responsive. We ended up going with the meal service daily for breakfast and dinner and Larissa and Nancy are incredible! Took care of everything for all 8 of us (3 adults and 5 kids), which made it feel like a true vacation. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

My husband and I wanted to escape somewhere warm and somewhat remote and this home was the perfect spot! An easy drive from the airport with a convenient midway stop for groceries. Suma Sands was very warm and welcoming when we arrived. Everything was clean and neat but also seemed homey like this was an actual home away from home. The pool, deck and proximity to the beach is ideal and the views are breathtaking. We had a bit of windy, chilly weather the first couple of days but we relaxed on the cozy sectional and read books or napped. The kitchen is very user friendly and has everything you need for creating delicious meals or just snacking and relaxing at the bar. We definitely plan to come back and take advantage of the chef services and other excursion offerings but this time was just for rest and downtime. Thanks to Judy and her staff for doing a great job. Beautiful home and beach

Prettiest water we have ever seen! The pool was amazing. Just know that the town shuts down on sundays so try to arrive on a Saturday or a Monday. That is my only complaint that we wish we would have been informed of upon booking. Otherwise we would definitely stay again!

Dream Vacation

Beautiful villa. Most incredible white sand beach we have ever been on. Everything you need is available at the villa. The only drawback is the villa's distance from any stores where you can buy what you need.
