This property really does appeal to everyone whether you’re a family looking for a relaxing peaceful lavish retreat or a couple looking for a cool trendy getaway. Nestled in a peaceful quiet area far enough from the hustle and bustle of Mumbles but near enough to walk to the seafront, restaurants, trendy bars and shops in minutes. Stay here, relax and enjoy.
Welcome to 'Glen's View'. We are a small family business who specialise in providing a luxurious relaxing getaway for our guests. We appreciate you taking time to click on our listing and we encourage you to read the entire description to ensure it meets your needs and expectations before you book. Glen's View is designed for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity in a peaceful location with stunning sea views. Please note that this is not a party house, as it is situated in a quiet residential area.

As our guest, you will have exclusive access to the entire property providing you with a truly private and luxurious experience. Indulge in relaxation and enjoy the hot tub.

Perfectly situated just outside the seaside town of Mumbles, our home offers a peaceful stay away from the crowds, whilst still being close to all the attractions and amenities. Enjoy the nearby beaches and sea, explore the vibrant Mumbles and the beautiful Gower Peninsular.

Families, couples, well behaved groups and business workers are all welcome in our beautiful home.

Glen’s View has been professionally renovated and decorated with a modern contemporary style. The property benefits from it's own private 6-seater hot tub and an elevated decking area with stunning views across Swansea Bay.
This property really does have the WOW factor.
An inviting hallway will greet you with feature mirrors, Velux ceiling feature and oak steps leading to the kitchen/lounge.
The lounge area has a freestanding TV wall with a 65-inch smart TV and built-in modern fireplace. It has a corner sofa that would comfortably seat 8 people where you can sit, open the bi-fold sliding doors and enjoy the sea view from the Juliette balcony. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the atmospheric lighting which is built into the ceiling.
The dining area has a 6-seater modern dining table.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven.
The kitchen also has a roof Velux feature and atmospheric lighting.
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, wardrobes, dressing table, full length mirror, smart TV and en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 2 has a double size bed, wardrobes, smart TV and en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 3 has single bunk beds, wardrobe, smart TV and a Velux ceiling feature.
The main bathroom has a 3-piece suite comprising of bath with overhead shower, toilet, basin and Velux ceiling feature.
There is Wi-Fi throughout the property.
The garden has its own private 6-seater hot tub, a 6-seater dining area, a garden which is laid to lawn and elevated decking with a further dining area perfect for alfresco dining and sun loungers which provide stunning views across Swansea Bay.
To the front of the property there is a drive for private parking and steps with a handrail leading to the inviting hallway.
Not suitable for wheelchairs due to the property being split level.

The property provides easy access to the magnificent Gower Peninsular which was the first place in Britain to be awarded an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This really is a perfect getaway for families looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday base from where you will be able to explore all of the stunning locations that the Gower Peninsular and The Mumbles has to offer.

- House Rules:
o We operate Quiet Hours around the Hot Tub, Garden and Decking Areas these are between 10:30pm-7am
o Use of Hot tub is only permitted between 7am to 10:30pm
o No music to be played in the garden or around the Hot Tub after 9pm
o No parties
o No hen or stag gatherings
o This is a quiet relaxing tranquil location so not suitable for any party goers

- Rules specific to hot tub:
o Please wash all sand from your feet before entering the hot tub
o Please wear appropriate footwear between the house and the hot tub to avoid the transfer of debris into the hot tub
o No food to be eaten around the Hot Tub
o No Fake Tan can be worn in the Hot Tub
o No Glass to placed anywhere near the hot tub to prevent accidents or injury
o The Hot Tub must be vacated by 10:30pm

It's crucial to maintain a relaxed and peaceful environment. No music or partying is allowed due to council regulations and consideration for our residential neighbours. Excessive Noise disturbances must be avoided at all times.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Can we have a party at the property ? No, we only accept couples and family/friendship groups who are looking to relax in order to maintain the tranquil peaceful environment. If you are looking to have a party then please pass us by as this is not the property for you.

Can we use the hot tub after 10:30pm? Unfortunately, this is not permitted by local council regulations. To ensure a peaceful environment for the surrounding residents, the use of hot tubs MUST cease by 10:30pm.

If I wear Fake tan can I still use the hot tub ? No, this is a high end hot tub. If you are wearing Fake tan then you cannot enter the hot tub, the sensitive hot tub sensors will detect a thickening of the water and show an error code and shut down.
The hot tub will then need to be fully drained and the filters will need to be changed. Please ensure that everyone staying is aware of this.
Please Note: If this error code appears the hot tub will not be switched back on during your stay and a cleaning fee will apply. It is really important that you understand this as we don’t want to spoil your holiday experience or spoil the quality of the hot tub for future guests.

Can we use the garden and decking areas after 10:30pm? These can be used after 10:30pm. However, they are set up to be quiet tranquil areas for you to relax, music is not permitted on the decking area at any time. No music or loud noises are to be made in the garden areas after 9pm in line with the community disturbance policy. In simple terms if you’re looking to relax and enjoy then this is the property for you. If you’re looking for a party then do not book this property.

Can we have visitors who are not staying overnight? For safety, security, and insurance purposes, we are only covered for the guests listed on the booking. Unfortunately, you cannot have any visitors or additional guests at the property unless they are registered on the original booking.

We are just a phone call or message away if you need assistance, and we live close by.

Please ensure that all your guests are added to the booking. Additionally, we kindly request that you download the VRBO App to contact us. In case of emergencies, please feel free to text or call us.

To maintain a high standard of service and security, we require guests to have previous established Airbnb reviews before requesting their booking.

Parties and events are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Music is not permitted on the decking area at any time. This is a tranquil peaceful retreat.

The use of the hot tub is restricted after 10:30pm. Additionally, children under 12 years old must be supervised at all times.

While we provide a complimentary hot tub experience, please note that technical faults can occasionally arise, resulting in the hot tub being temporarily unavailable. Rest assured, such occurrences are Extremely rare, and we will make every effort to rectify any issues within 24 hours. We kindly request that the hot tub should not be the sole reason for booking our home.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home.

To maintain cleanliness and hygiene and a high standard for all guests we request that guests refrain from wearing shoes inside the home. A shoe storage bench is provided in the entrance hall.

Vaping, e-cigarettes, shisha pipes and candles are not allowed in the home.

Check-in is available from 3pm onwards, Check-out is required before 10am, as our housekeepers require full access to prepare the home to a high standard for the next incoming guests.

To ensure accurate compliance with our registration and insurance policies, please include the total number of guests in your booking. Only the guests registered on the reservation will be granted access to the property.

We appreciate guests leaving the home as tidy as possible.

Parking cars on the premises is at the owner's risk, and we will not accept any liability for accidents, damage, or loss.

We will not accept personal liability for accidents that occur within the home or outdoor areas.

Super short stay
Excellent property finished to a high standard. Location great as just outside the main hustle and bustle of the Mumbles but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. Lovely hot tub at the property. Everything you could want for a relaxing break away.
