We had a great stay at the Aquaholic! Patrick was fantastic and responded very quickly to any questions. He checked in to make sure we got in ok and if there was anything we needed. I have never had that before in a host! The house was cool and plenty of room for us. We were so close to the water it was easy to spend tons of time at the beach then come back and relax at the pool and in the hot tub! To say we had a great time is an understatement!

Great place in Oak Island!

Beautifully designed, fully stocked, and steps from the sand with a private pool and hot tub that made it feel like a luxury resort. Perfect for families or groups, with unbeatable ocean views and every comfort thoughtfully included.

Beautiful Pool

This beach front property is delightful. It has a beautiful pool and a great hot tub. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. The beach house is perfect for a family gathering.

We greatly enjoyed our first trip to Oak Island. The house was a great fit for our family and it was wonderful to be right on the beach. The property manager was great.

AQUAHOLIC is wonderful!!! Our family loved everything about Aquaholic and we plan on making this an annual trip. Loved being on the beach and the pool was great! The only negative was we had to leave, the time went too quickly! The host has done an excellent job in creating an ideal getaway and we also appreciated the cleanliness of the home! We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Week

This is our 2nd time staying in this wonderful home. We have rented many beaches in the past and this one by far has every amenity you could want and the kitchen has more supplies than mine at home has! Highly recommend!!

We loved Aquaholic. The house had lots of extras in the kitchen, by the pool and for kids. The location and pool were great. We are ready to go back again.

Everything We Hoped For!

Great layout with open gathering spaces as well as quiet, private bedrooms. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you need for cooking. Easy access to the beach and pool was refreshing. Hot tub was great for unwinding in the evening. Perfect location, near the point and restaurant on the bay.

Our family Definitely enjoyed this beautiful calming beach house. From the pool/hot tub, and short walk to the ocean, it was all amazing. Plenty of games/activities to enjoy while here and plenty of restaurants and attractions near. Will definitely be back next year

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful house and property! Appreciated the individual bedroom suites with bathroom! Kids room was amazing, fun, and perfect! Couldn't have asked for a better place! Kitchen had everything needed. Would rent again and highly recommend! Spacious and enough privacy for everyone!

September Stay

This house was ideal for a multigenerational family vacation. The bedroom layout was perfect and allowed for everyone to have their own space with a view! The location was a 10/10 right on the beach with gorgeous views. Everything about this home was conducive to a wonderful family vacation. The host was very communicative and helpful and answered all of our questions. We hope to stay again in the future!

It's AWESOME to be an AQUAHOLIC!!!

Three generations of family absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. It met all of our requirements: on the beach, pool, hot tub with a view of the ocean and dog friendly. It was kid-friendly as well with a lot of toys for toddlers.The home was extremely comfortable and well provisioned. The homeowner, Patrick, was extremely responsive and very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. My entire family loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

Awesome Family Vacation

Wonderful beachfront spacious home with all the amenities! Extremely comfortable beds, outdoor heated pool and hot tub, outdoor shower, plenty of space to relax and not feel like you’re on top of everyone. Our family of 6 adults, 1 toddler and 1 small senior dog were completely comfortable and made so many memories! We will return! The property owner was great to work with and had exceptional communication.

Multigenerational Wonderland

We had a wonderful time at the property. It had the best stocked kitchen in terms of cooking. With small children, keeping it simple with meals is key. Also the toys, outdoor equipment and games added to an amazing experience for all ages 1-63 years young. Communication back and forth with the owners was quick, efficient and so helpful. I would love to bring my family back to relax, reconnect and create more memories.

Perfect Family Vacation

We were repeat vacationers and it was just as lovely this time as the first. This is the perfect property for a multi-generational family vacation. With two littles and both sets of grandparents, there was something for everyone. The setup was wonderful in that everyone had their own suite and could retreat when needed. The best part of this house though is the location and the pool. The view is amazing and you are on the beach! It doesn’t get any better. A few days we weren’t able to go on the beach but the pool was a wonderful substitute. Highly recommend!

1st time to Oak Island.beautiful and not crowded. owner is exceptional to work with. offered flexible check in without us asking. checked on us by text several times.house updated and the view is outstanding with wall to wall windows. pool /hot tub added bonus. best equipped kitchen I have seen for rental.4 bedrooms each with own bath allowed privacy . the bunk room was not used but would be perfect for kids. we used as a private space for reading/exercising. would definitely stay again!

Aquaholic house at Oak Island

It was gray and raining most of the time but we didn’t care! The house is lovely, well appointed and comfortable! To wake up and sit on the back deck with our coffee, looking out to the ocean was amazing. Our pups enjoyed people watching from the back deck as well. Cocktail hour in the hot tub was magnificent! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We didn’t spend much time by the pool but when we return we will enjoy the swinging bed next to it, along with plenty of seating and shade. An outdoor grill where we grilled fish was excellent to have and the outdoor shower we loved too! The owners clearly put a lot of thought and care into a total comfort package. Highly recommend! We were sad to pull out today but we look forward to returning.

This is the first time our family stayed on Oak Island (for the past 15 years we have always gone to Kiawah Island). The entire family loved Oak Island and Aquaholic! The beaches are beautiful and not crowded. The house is in a great location, laid out perfectly for our family, super clean, right on the beach, has a beautiful pool, and is stocked with pretty much everything we needed. The owner was awesome! If I needed anything and text him I would get a response within a few minutes. We are already trying to pick a week to go back next year!!

A great VRBO property!

“Aquaholic” is well maintained and clean. Patrick (the owner) was communicative and thorough. The beach is easily accessed over the dunes in just a short distance. No beach wagons required! The house is very close to the “Point,” the westernmost portion of the island, where we launched kayaks, SUP’s and a lot of bait! Great time for our group of three generations.

This is the place

The vacation spot we were looking for. Brilliant views of the ocean from an open concept kitchen/dining/living area. Massive wide covered patio. Immediate access to a private beach. Responsive and available owner (and very nice!). 4 of the bedrooms have their own en suite private bathroom - so each family has their own quiet space. Well laid out. Just exactly what we all wanted.
