Our stay at this lovely home was one of the best vacation rental experiences we've had. The care and attention to detail the Owners put into creating a gem for guests is beyond apparent. The cleanliness, decor, amenities and comfort features all made for a very pleasurable stay. The OKI location and views can't be beat for sure. Communications were addressed promptly, professionally and courteously. My family and I highly recommend this property for your next vacation ... you definitely won't be disappointed!

The owners truly thought of everything you could need for your beach vacation. The home was thoughtfully appointed and decorated. Fabulous ocean front views and steps from the beach. Comfortable beds and bedding, relaxing family room. We enjoyed several of the amenities. Standouts for us, pool, pool table, game table, gas grill & outdoors shower. Thanks Mike!

This house was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly as the pictures showed. The location was great with the park right behind us. There were places to walk to and the grocery store was right there. The beach access was easy and the pool was a nice relief from the heat. The house was fully stocked, more so than any house we’ve ever visited. The owners thought of everything right down to beach towels and sunscreen!The communication with the owners was easy and they were super attentive.It was our first time in Oak Island and it didn’t disappoint. We loved it.

Quite possibly the best home on a beachfront that I have ever stayed in. The view was unobstructed and breathtaking at sunrise and Sunset. The amenities were incredible including a heated pool and a hot tub. The location of the house was so convenient being so close to a Publix and many restaurants.

What a beautiful home! You can’t beat the location! The outdoor living space of this home is second-to-none. We utilized both decks at different times of the day and loved being able to see the ocean from both. The inside was also well-stocked, extremely clean, and comfortable.

Our family of 11 had an excellent week at the beach thanks to the comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail at this house! The house was clean and ready when we arrived. All the bedrooms, indoor and outdoor living spaces were comfortable and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed for homemade meals for the week. We loved everything about the house from the lap pool, to the hot tub, to the convenience of getting to the ocean. There was plenty of space to store our outdoor items as well. We hope to stay here again in the future!

It was such a great day. The property and everything included was great. The location could not have been nicer. And anything that needed to be communicate communicated with the property manager was done so seamlessly via this app, and a response time that was so quick. We really loved our stay in Oak Island.

Perfect house for chilling on the beach. We really enjoyed the swim spa, the pool table, and the game machine. Plenty of sun shade, beach toys, chairs are provided.Perfect location with minimal distance to beach access. We walked to farmer market, friday concert and skate park. Noted that check-in is exactly at 4pm.

They say in real estate location is everything. I say that's true of vacation rentals as well and this home nails it! Fabulous location - not just because its beachfront with direct beach access from your backyard and you have amazing views from both decks, but also because of it's convenient location to the grocery store and pizza. Having the park with fields and a playground right behind the house is fabulous too. Mike is a terrific owner, always responding quickly and helpfully. The kitchen is super well stocked as is the beach gear - so nice not to have to pack beach chairs - they have a ton of nice ones available, along with boogie boards and kayaks and sand toys. So many wonderful seating areas as well, and the swim spa, hot tub and pool table make it fun to spend time outside when not on the beach. The huge dining table was perfect for our group. I do wish there had been a little more seating in the family room. The recliners are super comfortable but you can only seat 5 people at a time. The bedrooms were nice, I wish some of them were a little bigger and had a little dresser for clothes but not a huge deal. Overall very happy!

We rent a beach house every year for our Oak Island getaway, and this one instantly became our family’s all‑time favorite. The home feels fresh, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully decorated—like stepping into a magazine spread but with all the comfort you actually want on vacation. The layout is perfect for big family gatherings, with a sparkling spa pool, a cozy fire pit, a hot tub under the stars, shuffleboard battles that lasted way too late, and two spacious decks where morning coffee somehow tastes better.One of the biggest perks was how walkable everything was. A short, easy stroll took us straight to the park, and Publix was close enough that grabbing last‑minute snacks or ingredients felt effortless. It made the whole trip feel relaxed and connected, like the house was part of the neighborhood rather than tucked away from it.And let me tell you—the elevator was a lifesaver. Super simple to operate, it made packing and unpacking a breeze and saved more than a few back muscles.Mike, the host, was phenomenal. He answered every question quickly and kindly, and we honestly felt lucky to have him again since he’d hosted us at another rental. His attention and hospitality made the stay feel even more special.This house didn’t just give us a place to stay—it gave us one of our best family vacations yet.

Totally Amazing Beach House

I cannot say enough great things about this property. The owners have gone over and beyond to make this the perfect vacation getaway. We were overwhelmed with all of the amazing amenties that were provided. The pool/spa is an absolute dream. The view is perfect, the walk to the beach is so close and easy, and all of the beach toys were an added bonus. In addition, the home is beautifully appointed, extremely clean and so relaxing. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this rental.

This fantastic house offers the ultimate in convenience, with direct beach access and just steps away from Publix, the park, pizza, etc. It's fully stocked with everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. Plus, having an EV charger right at the house was incredibly convenient for keeping our two electric vehicles ready to go. What truly sets this rental apart is the incredibly responsive owner and staff, who answered all our questions and requests within minutes!

Beautiful, clean oceanfront home just steps from the beach with gorgeous views from both decks, each with outdoor dining and comfortable seating. Well-equipped kitchen for those who cook and very conveniently located near grocery, restaurants, etc. New swim spa so relaxing after a day at the beach. Incredible Family Home

We had 11 people (3 kids 14 and under) stay at this beautiful property. The bunk bed room is amazing and the kids would disappear to hang out in there. The remaining rooms were great and the view is just priceless. We would sit on the porch all evening until the sun set and then watch the stars. The hot tub and spa pool were lovely bonuses. There was a farmers market and Friday night concert across the street which speaks to the location. Everything is so close. We also felt like we had plenty of space and privacy on the beach. The whole family agrees we will return to this property and we have stayed in over 8 different beach properties over the years. This one is a keeper!!

10 out of 10! We have stayed at a lot of VRBO‘s over the years and this one will remain at the top of our list! First of all the home is absolutely beautiful and the view was breathtaking! The layout of the home was great for a crowd. We had nine total adults (no young kids). We made all of our meals at the home and the kitchen was well stocked and had excellent equipment for making meals for large crowds.The view is absolutely spectacular, and in the winter you could see both sunrise and sunset from the balconies. We took walks on the beach every day. Pickleball courts and park are right behind the house and we played pickle ball and our basketball almost every day. In the winter, we could do bonfires on the beach and we did that for two nights as well, and Mike even had wood stocked for that. The pool table and hot tubs were put to good use by our young adult kids, and we loved bundling up with blankets and sitting outside and reading on the incredible comfortable outdoor couch. There are plenty of TVs for watching football and basketball. The home is incredibly close to the grocery store (walkable) so we rarely even got in our car during the week we were visiting. Oak Island was bustling during this winter holiday week, and we enjoyed the laid back par 3 golf and New year’s Day latern parade.Mike was incredibly responsive as a host and honestly, we don’t have anything but amazing praise for this place!

We loved hosting Karen and her family and since my team and I work very hard at providing a five star experience it’s gives us great joy to know that Karen and her family had what sounds like a memorable New Eve week experience that they will remember for a long time. We hope that we can host them again in the Spring, Summer next New Years or Christmas for perhaps an even better experience under different weather conditions with even more events going on when the park is hosting the summer free amphitheater concerts or other events.

Our family of 14 stayed here for a week from babies to grandparents. This is one of the best beach houses we've stayed at. There were enough hangout spots for people to have downtime AND the dining room table fit everyone. We were initially concerned about the small size of the pool, but overall, it worked out well and was enjoyed. This place has lots of boogies boards, chairs and umbrellas as well. The thing we didn't like about the property was that the kitchen was on the 3rd floor and the outdoor stairs near the pool (2nd floor) and facing beach, only went to the second floor. This meant that we were constantly dripping on the second floor hallway and stairs to get to the third floor.

The house itself is great how neither the swim spa nor hot tub were working. The host responded but when the service workers came by to look at it they told us this was not the first time they've been called out and the owners were definitely aware of issues with the swim spa. This was a selling feature for us and disappointing to not have been made aware of this prior. Again, the house and location are fine however temper expectations around swim spa and hot tub.

We booked for my parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary and we truly had an amazing experience. The house is absolutely beautiful and it has everything we could have asked for, and more. We stayed for 4 days (wish we had booked more time!) and there were 14 of us, including 3 children. We had a diverse family of varying interests and everyone had a wonderful time. The house is right on the beach and has beach access, 3 stories with 2 decks that were great for having a meal and watching the waves hit the sand. You can also see the beach from any of the rooms/living rooms that face the beach. It was just awesome. There was plenty of entertainment for the short time it rained and for winding down at the end of the day. Plenty of TVs and games to play. We had a pool tournament one night as well on the pool table. The pool and hot tub were immaculately clean and relaxing. Communication before our stay, during, and after with Mike were great as well. He made sure we had all we needed and gave a great restaurant recommendation (Edgewater 122). He answered all my questions and was a great host!We were talking about possibly making this an annual trip on our drive home and would absolutely recommend staying at this home to anyone who asks! We just had a great experience with everything.
