I have always loved Geneva Lake. My grandfather spent nearly 90 consecutive summers on the lake in Fontana. I remember spending time during my childhood summers swimming, boating, and hiking along the lakeshore path. I moved to the area full-time in 2008 to help with my grandmother when she was sick, and I never left. The lake is where I find my peace and happiness. We lost my grandmother in 2010. My grandfather made it another amazing 11 years. Their legacies live on through the memories I have and the peace I find on Geneva Lake. I am an elementary teacher in the Kenosha School District. When I was engaged in 2020, I knew I wanted to keep and share my home in Lake Geneva. Short-term rentals allow the best of both worlds, my family and I can still use my home and I can share my love of the lake with others. My fiancé and I will be married in August 2021, and I will also officially become a bonus mom to an 8-year-old son.

This home was built in 1925, likely from a kit ordered from a catalog. In 1926, the couple had a son. I purchased this home after their son passed away in 2017 at 91 years of age. He had no children. It was obvious that the home was loved and the family was very handy. I have poured my heart and soul into maintaining and restoring what I can to honor the family. I can’t even begin to list all of the things I have done, but I can tell you I have learned so much along the journey. I am so happy to share my home with you. Location, location, location! This home has the best location, a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood, but just blocks away from shopping, hiking, and swimming. Everything is a 10-minute walk away, and it makes getting around so easy.
