You will love this oceanfront 3rd-floor unit! This rental offers beautiful views and 2 beach access points. This unit has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, wifi, in unit washer/dryer, & cable TV. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom has 1 queen and 1 twin; more than enough room for a fun, relaxing vacation! A fully redesigned unit perfect for any family. Permitted parking for 2 cars with passes included. Complex has 2 communal pools. This beautiful newly renovated property is stocked and ready with everything you should need for your getaway!

Get excited for all the fun-filled moments you can have at Seaside Retreat: Walk or bike to several restaurants, ice cream shop, Carolina Lake, Wheels Fun Rentals, farmer's market and Carolina Beach Boardwalk, which has received many accolades since its renovation. You can view the weekly summer fireworks from the beach at the condo. Boardwalk has rides, amusements, shoppes, games, nightlife, Tony Silvagni surf school and the famous Brit's Donuts! Area attractions include several golf courses, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, fishing piers, charter boats, Carolina Beach State Park, Fort Fisher State Historic Site, Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, new greenway trail, yoga studios (yoga classes on the beach offered) and Mike Chappell park which has playground, tennis courts, skate park and playing fields. Just a short ride to the ferry to Southport, Old Baldy Lighthouse and the city of Wilmington. Wilmington offers museums, parks, restaurants, thriving arts and culture scene, theatres, the Riverwalk, Jungle Rapids, Arboretum/gardens and so much more.

Small but cute.

Overall, the condo was great. Very clean upon check-in. Sheets and towels were wrapped in cellophane freshly cleaned and they provided a welcome pack of dish soap and a sponge. Nice array of board games, books and movies were also available. Furniture was nice and comfortable as well. They had everything you would need in the kitchen, even if it was a little dated. However, there was only 1 garbage bag in the bin and 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, so we had to buy more for the week that we were there. There was also a constant buzzing sound coming from the furnace and the shower made a squealing sound when in use. Also the master bathroom door won’t close all the way and the deck furniture was covered in a thick coat of pollen upon arrival. The dishwasher didn’t really clean the dishes very well, so we ended up hand washing a lot of things. All in all we had a great stay and enjoyed the location and it’s proximity to the boardwalk, restaurants, and the lake.

Cleanliness of the condo was OK the beds were horrible Very uncomfortable When I went to make coffee I pulled out the cup to put the grinds and there was green mold because the grounds from someone else was left in there and the place needed an upgrade the outside deck needed a good sweeping and the chairs were rusty for the beach Every time you sat on the couch it made a noise very uncomfortable and the twin beds were horrible they made Noises too every time you moved

Perfect Location

This condo was really nice - it’s perfect for a single person, couple/friends, or a small family. The location was perfect for beach access - a nice private walkway to the beach and shower. The condo was clean when I entered - I don’t feel that there was anything they could have done better. I’ve seen people complain in general about sand residue in properties such as this - you’re on the beach. Sand is a given - it’s probably impossible to clean every piece of sand. The condo decor was modern and in good condition. I’m not too into nautical themes but it was done nicely. The washer/dryer worked well and were very convenient. There were a couple of floor boards in the master bedroom that have some gaps. It wasn’t an inconvenience nor did it factor into my rating - only bringing it up because it may be something that needs to be fixed. Also, the freezer probably needs a good defrosting. I didn’t use the freezer much except to store a bag of ice over night but it was pretty icy when I opened it. The reason for a four star rating from me, though, was only due to the stairs. It’s three flights. For an every day, coming and going basis, they weren’t such a big deal. However, the carrying up luggage was definitely not a pleasant experience. If you are staying at this property - if you are vacationing alone, a heavy packer, out of shape, or all three (like me, 😉 ), please take the stairs into consideration. The area was surprisingly quiet also. Maybe it was due to it being in September but it was nice. I was worried there would be a lot of sound - but, it was mainly the heavenly sound of the ocean that drifted through the open sliding glass doors. One downside, through no fault of the property building so it also didn’t factor into my rating, was I got new neighbors halfway through my vacation who liked to smoke pot in the morning. The smell of pot physically makes me ill so I always had to shut the doors and the smell lingered quite often so I always tried to leave the condo during these times so it would air out before I returned. Overall, I would stay here again - factoring in those stairs, though, and maybe pack lighter the next time.

Family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sadly this was vacation was a huge disappointment! The trash dumpsters were located directly under our unit. When we arrived 2 HUGE dumpsters were completely full piled high and overflowing with stinking rotting bags of garbage. They remained there the entire week!The smell was unreal!!! Totally sickening and extremely nauseating! We tried holding our breath while climbing 6 flights of stairs with children to reach this 3rd floor unit! The dryer did not work and when maintenance came I was told to dry 1 sock at a time.That comment alone was rude,distressing,incompetent and unexcuseable. The W/D were listed as an ammenity included in this unit paid for and broken! Horrible!!

The perfect spot!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best time at Sand Pebbles! I wanted to write a quick review of a few things to note for those considering this Condo. The ocean view is perfect and the condo (in 2021) was in perfect condition. Everything looked brand new. Please make note of the following things: 1. You will have to climb 3 LONG flights of stairs to get to the 3rd floor. I never would have gotten the car unloaded if I didn't have help from my teenage daughter. Grocery haul was brutal and in the July heat, it was a pretty miserable climb. 2. We never went to the pools the whole time we were there. They were TINY and there is no pool furniture. With that many condos, it was standing room only in the pools. Very uncomfortable and very unusable and very busy. You'll have to be happy on the beach. 3. The gate key to get to the beach didn't work. This became a problem when my daughter got stung by a jellyfish and we ran back to the condo to get vinegar and couldn't get back out to the beach to help her. Definitely a problem. We exchanged the key with the office and finally got one that worked. Test your key first before you do anything. 4. Inside the condo, there isn't any cupboard space for your food. We just kept all our food out on the kitchen counter and dealt with it being out and cluttered and crowded. 5. Heads up, the laundry is wonderful being inside the condo, but it will take 4 cycles in the dryer to get a load of towels completely dry. Yes, I cleaned the lint tray. The dryer is small and just takes a long time to dry your clothes / towels. I think we would definitely be back to this condo, mainly because it looked brand new and the view was so nice and the size was perfect. I was with people who loved being at the beach so they didn't mind never going to the pool. I would consider the stairs if I went again. Everyone vacationing needs to be able to climb those flights of stairs with no issues. Parking was fine. We got our parking tags from the office and parked right under the unit.
