Welcome to the Bavarian Haus with seasonal mountain views (weather and foliage permitting) and black bears wandering by on their daily trek up the mountain. Located in popular Chalet Village with spectacular sunrises, gorgeous views, star gazing and views of the city lights at night (weather and foliage permitting). It will take you only a couple of minutes to Downtown Gatlinburg, Ober Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain National Park with many hiking trails. You will enjoy easy and quick access to Pigeon Forge, Wears Valley, Dollywood and all the exciting attractions awaiting you on your journey!
The Bavarian Haus has been completely renovated and tastefully decorated with rustic mountain decor. The cabin features 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with a laundry closet and stackable washer and dryer. The open and airy living room and kitchen boasts a cathedral ceiling with skylights. The Haus can accommodate 6 guests comfortably. The first bedroom has a large hand made Amish king bed, the second bedroom has queen over queen log bunk beds and the upstairs sofa has a queen pull out bed. The living room has a beautiful wood burning fireplace to warm you on those cold winter nights in the mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and serve delicious meals on the handmade Amish kitchen table and chairs. You can eat outside on the comfortable and spacious deck or enjoy the mountain views while soaking in the hot tub.The cabin has WiFi, cable TV by Spectrum and Roku. Newly added foosball table!
Guests can enjoy a choice of 3 Chalet Village Clubhouses where you can swim, play tennis or just laze by the pool between Memorial Day and Labor Day free of charge.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful experience in this cottage. It was perfect for our family of 5. Had everything we needed, even saw several bears right off the balcony.

Beautiful house

We were gratful for a wonderful place to stay because we were disappointed in Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. It was so commercialized for being the Smokey mountains. Thank heavens for a fun retreat. The traffic was horrible and it wasn’t peaceful at all in the mountains except for where we stayed. It was so clean and so darling! What a place💕

Fun Family Vacation

Property was as advertised. My 3 year old enjoyed the decorations. Didn't see bear on property but saw one about half a mile away sniffing around another cabin.

Our family has been visiting Gatlinburg for many years. It always felt very special to us, like we belonged here. We traveled here so many times on a very limited budget when our kids were growing up. I knew this is where I wanted a second home. The Smoky Mountains were our family's playground and still is. We were able to become part of this great community and purchased our first property in 2017. We love it so much that we wanted to share our experience with others. Why would you want to come to Gatlinburg and not get a cottage "on the mountain" (as locals call it) with amazing seasonal views! To wake up and see God's beauty is awesome!

We fell in love with this property the minute we saw it. I think because it was red! My favorite color. Its very Bavarian on the outside and the inside is warm and cozy with the tongue and groove woodwork. Modern rustic is what I call it!
