Located in desirable Bonnet Shores, some of Rhode Island's best restaurants, awesome water sports, hottest nightlife are just minutes away. And for convenience - amenities: banks, pharmacies, shopping centers, and grocery stores are around the corner. Quick access to Newport, Jamestown, Wickford; 40 minutes to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, Providence. Can't ask for more when vacationing!

Great location

Loved that there were 6 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Loved having access to laundry, and water pressure was great even with multiple showers running. Property could use some upgrades- mattresses uncomfortable, a lot of ants and bugs in the home. Wished that the curtains blocked more light from the bedrooms in the morning. Wished we did not have to drive to a separate property management company almost 15 minutes from the home to drop off and pick up keys. Overall good stay.

Bonnet Shores

Property was exactly as described and worked very well. Kelly Beach was a major hassle if you’re bringing beach gear for youngsters - Roger Wheeler was more convenient. Extra keys and clean up of area outside first level slider never occurred though communications were ongoing throughout week.

Lots of smaller issues

That review about the bed being creaky was accurate. There were a number of minor annoyances which would cause me to avoid this unit in the future.

Property in transition

We had an overall great experience at this property. It is good location - bikable to Kelly Beach, walkable to Brickley's ice cream and easy drives to Narragansett, Scarborough and Galilee. The house was plenty large enough for our small family and fenced yard for the dog was great benefit. The house looks like it's transitioning, in good way, from university student rental to vacation rental. New dishwasher and a couple of new mattresses were nice. Box springs / bed frames on upstairs bedrooms were super loud though. We will keep an eye on this property in future to see if owners make further minor renovations to make the stay even more pleasant.

Love Narragansett

We had a great stay in Narragansett. The house worked well for our family of 11. The backyard provided a great space for outdoor play and grilling. Easy access to area activities, restaurants and beaches. There were a couple of glitches - six bedrooms provided perfect space - however, one of the bedrooms was locked so our first night was less than ideal. The room was unlocked by a neighbor the next morning. The air conditioning was spotty at times - it would freeze up and not blow - my husband was familiar and we were able to turn it off for a bit and then it worked fine (due to high humidity?). Some of the amenities listed were not there, which was no big deal (iron, lobster pot). One additional comment I would make is that the railing slats in the living room and on the deck are rather far apart. It is not ideal when traveling with an 18 month old and small dogs - we were able to line the living room with the dog crates and had the last arriving family member bring a baby corral, which we used as a gate on the stairs and put around the railings on the deck. We did, truly, enjoy our stay and would definitely consider renting this property again.
