Let us accommodate your stay to San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico Spring sunrises are incredible creep up over the horizon of the Sea of Cortez and the magnificent sunsets to the west on the La Sierra San Pedro Martir Mountains. When it's time for a Full Moon you will be in for a treat as it comes up over the Sea. If you are here during the full moon EDR offers bocce on the beach to visitors (that would be you) with free hotdogs. It's a FUN event always and a fantastic place to watch the moon rise in all its glory. It's a memorable experience!

Old-West themed Casita. Be it in Mexico or USA, there is always room to reminisce about the past. This lovely Casita has a Western feel with its western art and wrought iron lamps. It's a quiet place in the Mexican desert near the Sea of Cortez and just a few miles from downtown San Felipe and the pleasantries on the Malecon.

Casa de Katalina has been acquiring a lovely reputation from fabulous visitors all over Mexico from Canada to Chicago to Turkey! We are quickly becoming a popular destination especially during the Baja Races, Carnaval, Santa Semana, spring and yes, even the summer months!

We are proud to announce that during the month of February 2023 we were able to add a very nice features that truly made this a Casita (a little house). Boasting 600 sq ft or so, we now have a new kitchenette for your use. Stove and Full-sized refrigerator too are available for your use in the Casita.

Minimum stay 2 nights, maximum stay 5 nights unless discussed directly with Owner. Once minimum stay is booked, the Owner emails you directly to discuss any changes (rates), pet care, etc. before accepting your booking. Watch for SPECIALS every month all year round.

ALSO: RETURNING VISITORS and folks recommended by locals that know me, and/or if "you" have personally met Katalina, you can CALL KATALINA DIRECTLY and get an additional DISCOUNT. Book directly with Owner so you can save your money for Saturday Market wares and vendors on the Malecon!

Enjoy the Mountains as snow starts to fall on the Sierra San Pedro Martir Mountains, so beautiful in the winter months. Our Casita is really cozy too! The roof top patio of the Casita is a great place to view the stars at night as is the front courtyard by the fountain. It's as quiet as can be out here on Paseo del Sol. We have a cozy warm mini-split and comforters for the bed. You'll stay warm here, we promise!

Casa de Katalina is separate from the Casa Grande (the main home) where Owner Katalina lives all year round. Entrance to your abode is private. Owner always respects your privacy.

Pool and gate passes are provided with your booking and are required for entry on to El Dorado Ranch, a gated community. Because of recent HOA changes we cannot accept Saturday arrivals after 11 a.m. Rules require owners and vacationers to come to the office in person for pass registration. Saturdays are short office hours so must arrive no later than 11am please. Plan your arrival accordingly.

Golf fees are not included but the golf course is available to guests along with golf cart rental and dining at the Pavillion.

We offer an escape from your busy world to a surrounding of peace and quiet for a unique Mexico desert stay. We have recently added Wi-Fi and Netflex.

This Casita is cozy, fits 2 adults. You won't want to leave and you will probably want to come back! Please note: Casita does not sleep 3. There is an error in the listing, only 2 people can be accommodated.

The property is smoke free. NO FUMAR. and if this rule is not respected, you will be asked to leave.

The owner does speak Spanish and graciously invites Spanish speaking individuals from other designations in Mexico or USA or anywhere in the world.
