The house is a classic craftsman, with upgrades in all important areas. Modern kitchen, master shower and laundry area with extra toilet and tub. Kitchen well supplied with premium cookware. Fireplace listed but not available for us to use. We'll stay there again.

This is a lovely property and exactly as listed. The location was perfect for us. We so enjoyed the fireplace as it was chilly in Spokane when we were there. We will be returning frequently and hope to stay at Briar Rose again and again.

We arrived in the evening, no lights were on, the driveway is very tight and overgrown and not easy to identify from the road. The house was not clean, there were dead bees on the stairs leading upstairs and in the bedroom upstairs, the carpets were dirty, there were dirty dishes in the small dishwasher. We were busy visting our family so fortunately did not spend much time in the house. The location is great except for the challenging driveway to enter and exit from the busy street adjacent to the house. I would not recommend this rental property

Beautiful retreat

It was gorgeous and relaxing to sit in the garden listening to the birds and looking up into the canopy whether enjoying shade in the middle of the day or watching the stars

Cozy, quaint and relaxing!

Our child was having scoliosis back surgery at Shiners Hospital. Location is near the hospital and it was a very relaxing experience for us during a special time.

Visiting our daughter and her family

Location was very close to our daughter. House was clean, spacious and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable as were the linens and towels. We would stay at this house again.

Beautiful Setting

The house sits literally adjacent to and is part of a park. Sitting on the patio drinking coffee was wonderful. The bedrooms are comfortable and the house was perfect for our visit to Spokane.

Excellent place

Truly enjoyed this place. Great location, clean, and comfortable. The driveway and parking has a little learning curve, but once you figure it out, it works. A walk through the park literally starts when you walk out the back door. Will stay here again, for sure.

perfect stay

It was an absolutely beautiful location and the house itself was amazing. A cozy cottage that had every imaginable resource. We couldn't have asked for more! And the lake right out the front door beckoned us every day for a long leisurely walk. Thank you!

Lovely Garden and Home

Our stay was wonderful. We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from Gonzaga University and loved the serenity of the property. It was nice to be able to relax in peace after some long days. Would love to stay in the winter months when there is some snow! We’ll be back!

Beautiful home in Spokane

I stayed for almost a week while working in Spokane. The house was perfect- very clean, comfortable, and in a great downtown location. The outside was beautiful and great to relax in after a long day. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay from toiletries, extra fans, and great WiFi. I would love to stay again if I’m back in the area!

Fantastic Stay

We were in town to visit our Daughter out at Fairchild AFB. The location couldn't have been any more perfect - close to downtown for dinners, 15 min to Fairchild, and a perfect setting next to a tree lined park for walks with our small dog. The home had everything we needed, was quiet, and very comfortable. We'll be back!

Lovely

Great location, very cozy and comfy cottage. Very comfortable for 4 adults. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and basic grocery supplies. Communication with manager was great. Very responsive.

We will Return!

Wonderful, spotless and lovely cottage on the edge of a park with beautiful trees. Well equipped kitchen which enabled us to entertain and cook for our son, daughter-in-law and 10 month old grandson.

Cozy retreat

Beautiful cozy home, tastefully decorated, comfy beds with fine linens. Manito park is just 2 minutes away. Upscale neighborhood. Driveway very tight for a midsize suv, but manageable and worth the location of this home. Just my daughter and I stayed for a visit with my granddaughter who goes to Gonzaga University. We each had our own bedroom which was nice for both of us..

The location is wonderful, the house is well-appointed with kitchen supplies, soaps, laundry, etc. and the remodeled baths are very well done. I do have a couple of suggestions. Flannel sheets in the downstairs bedroom are not the best for June rentals. Also, the upstairs bedroom could use room-darkening shades for the summer months.

The host did not reply promptly, often taking 4 or more hours.

Our most serious concern was black mold on the tile grout in the bottom ⅓ of the downstairs bathroom shower. Otherwise the property was clean.No cutting boards in the kitchen.
