We are so glad that you loved this incredible vacation destination and appreciate that aside from the driveway you would have given it 5 stars. Over the years, the city has repaved Waterview Drive several times creating a dip on the apron at the bottom of the driveway. We did disclose in the reservation email that the bottom of the driveway was difficult to navigate. The owner has been working with the city and was able to repair the driveway apron on September 29. We are sorry that your reservation was before the repair and you were not able to take advantage of the improved navigation of the driveway. We hope to see you again in the near future.

Justin, we are excited to hear that the property provided you all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay in Big Bear. We are so sorry you were inconvenienced by the 10:00 check out. While every attempt is made to honor early check-ins and late check-outs, it is not always possible. With popular cabins such as this one, new guests are checking in the same day that other guests are checking out. Unlike a hotel, it often takes 3-4 hours to thoroughly clean the rental property. The cleaning includes washing all the linens, sanitizing the spa, and cleaning all the appliances, counters, floors, and furniture. VRBO clearly states that check-out is at 10:00 and whenever possible, we work with our guests to accommodate change when bookings are not back-to-back.
