PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This spacious and peaceful one-bedroom apartment is located inside a private waterfront lake property in the heart of The Warm Mineral Springs area. The apartment is fully furnished with an updated kitchen. It's stocked with any appliances that you may need. There is a shared driveway in front of the property where guests may park at their convince as well as a spacious backyard with a dock above the water where guests may enjoy the sun or sunset.

THE SPACE

This one bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a twin double sofa bed that can accommodate up to 2 people. The apartment is equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink in the bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with any appliances you may need, a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove, and oven. All Towels and linens are provided to you, and the apartment is thoroughly cleaned before any guests arrive.

NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION

Warm Mineral Springs is located in the heart of north Port which is an upcoming city on the west coast of Florida. All you could need is in short driving distance including TJ Max, Walmart, Ulta, Ross, The Mall, The Movies and so much more.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

In regards to my interaction with my guests; I live in New York City Part-time and will be in North Port working on the properties almost every month. I have a small management team that upkeeps and cleans the apartments. They are available 24/7 for your needs as well as I am available 24/7 for any type of contact.

We didnt receive any information how to check in. After I contacted Expedia, the owner emailed me finally. The day before arrival, I texted the owner & was told how to check in. The next day we flew in, I texted the owner we'll be there in 2 hours. The owner replied: something happened yesterday & the apartment is not able to be given for rent. It was 8pm & we had no place to spend the night.

Was very mis-advertised, and The property owner was very hard to get ahold of!!

The pictures online make it seem like the property has a “lake front” with a screen porch which is not true. The screen porch was inaccessible, and you had to walk around the entire building to get to this “lake front”. Apartment was also advertised as a condo, but when we messaged the owner about it she changed it to apartment. On her description she says she is available Monday through Sunday 7am-10pm, However she went days without getting back to me when I had a question about early check in. There was no mention of a shared driveway nor of a shared washer and dryer. And not to mention the neighborhood was very sketchy. Would NOT recommend.

WHAT GUESTS CAN ACCESS

Guests of course have access to their one-bedroom apartment that they are staying in as well as a spot in the driveway in which they can park their vehicle as it is shared with other guests. They have access to the whole backyard with a lake where they can fish & enjoy the view. In addition, I offer all guests who stay at any of my properties access to swim in the fountain of youth stream that flows at the back of one of my properties. The official Fountain of youth lake normally charges a $20 entrance fee, luckily some of the owners who have houses on the water that runs from the lake enjoy it for free, this is my case. So please inquire about that if you are interested and I will give you more information.

THE WARM MINERAL SPRINGS

The only warm mineral spring in Florida is found on an obscure back road (our favorite kind) near North Port, Florida. This place is of major historical and archeological note and I’m surprised we’d never heard of it! You may not step out of the water with a younger face, but perhaps you’ll feel you have more verve and zing.

A few intriguing facts about the springs:

The water flowing from this spring is low in oxygen and is believed to have been trapped underground for over thirty thousand years.
In 1973 a 10,000-year-old skull still containing brain matter (can you imagine?) was discovered, which changed the theory about the time of Homosapien movement to 4,000 years earlier than originally thought.
Some believe Ponce de Leon hoped this was The Fountain of Youth. (Some also believe that Ponce was never actually searching for The Fountain of Youth.) (I still am, though…)
Eight million gallons of water a day flows through and replenishes itself every 2 hours.

Soaking in warm mineral spring water is thought to have healing and preventative qualities, and natural medicine practitioners in Japan and Europe have been recommending balneotherapy – treatment of disease by bathing – for centuries. Some purported benefits are:

Increased blood flow, and circulation.
Increased metabolism.
Absorption of essential minerals.
Treatment of chronic digestive diseases and constipation.
