Oceanfront: Step to the Beach dal tuo portico!
Questa casa è una delle uniche due esistenti lungo tutta la costa che è al contempo fronte oceano e confina con Asilomar State Park nella parte posteriore. È una vera 'Beach House' in cui puoi davvero sperimentare l'osservazione delle balene dal divano del soggiorno!
Ottima posizione - una breve passeggiata lungo l'acqua per Spanish Bay / Pebble Beach.
La casa è semplice, robusta e confortevole. A partire dal 2019, la casa è stata rinnovata con nuovi bagni, nuova vernice, nuovi pavimenti in piastrelle, nuovo tappeto, rivestimenti per finestre, lampade ecc. Al piano inferiore è un open space con ampio soggiorno, sala da pranzo e cucina che scorre dall'una all'altra. Ci sono grandi finestre panoramiche sul davanti con ampie vedute aperte sulla spiaggia. Il soggiorno dispone di un grande camino a legna, un comodo divano e poltrone, un tavolo da gioco, TV satellitare, stereo, ecc. La cucina è ben arredata con molte pentole ed elettrodomestici. I piatti sono fatti "vecchia scuola" in quanto non c'è la lavastoviglie. Ma dal momento che il lavello della cucina si affaccia sull'oceano, il compito di lavare i piatti è abbastanza indolore!
Al piano superiore ci sono tre comode camere da letto, tutte con grandi finestre, letti comodi e TV satellitare a schermo piatto. C'è anche un ponte superiore con vista sulle dune e sulla spiaggia.
All'esterno troverai una firepit nella sabbia, perfetta per i falò ... o semplicemente sederti su una delle panchine e guardare le stelle. Il cielo notturno è incredibile perché c'è poca luce ambientale!
Il famoso sentiero ricreativo che si estende da Pebble Beach a Santa Cruz è proprio dall'altra parte della strada. Puoi raggiungere a piedi Spanish Bay Resort (forse un miglio) per cene di classe mondiale o passeggiare lungo i sentieri dell'Asilomar State Park.
Se sei un amante della spiaggia / oceano, questo è il tuo posto. Una cosa è certa: trascorri le tue vacanze qui e scoprirai perché amiamo così tanto la nostra Beach House!

Questa casa vacanze si trova a Pacific Grove, in Dune di Asilomar, e vanta una posizione strategica sulla spiaggia. Fisherman's Wharf e Pebble Beach Golf Links sono due tappe fondamentali per chi ama le attività. A livello naturalistico, invece, tra le principali attrazioni della zona ci sono Baia di Monterey e Carmel Beach. Viaggi con dei bambini? Non perderti Monterey Bay Aquarium e nemmeno WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca che propone eventi sportivi e spettacoli. 'When our parents bought this oceanfront corner lot 60+ years ago,they couldn't have imagined the amount of joy this property would bring to our family. When we were kids, we delighted in exploring the state park in our back yard, sliding down the sand dunes and watching the herds of deer graze around the house. We spent hours at the beach, collecting shells, playing on the rocks and coming home soaking wet with our pails full of treasures. Our friends and cousins delighted in joining us as they took turns visiting all summer long to stay and play at the Beach House.
The house is simple; built originally as a summer beach house by our lovely parents, Greek immigrants, who absolutely had to be near the seashore. It is strong and cozy and was originally filled with as many beds as possible, as my parents, with their amazing Greek hospitality, never said 'no' to any of the legions of visitors who always wanted to come and stay. Many dignitaries and celebrities have stayed there over the years, Having traded in their luxury hotel suites for a home with no dishwasher, they delighted in sitting at my mother's table for a home cooked meal while watching the whales go by and sleeping like logs to the sound of the waves crashing.
After the last full time family member moved out, we decided to open up the opportunity of a vacation rental to others besides family members and friends through VRBO. While the house is probably not the fanciest available for rent, it is comfy and inviting. It is only one of two houses existing as oceanfront with the Asilomar State Park in the back yard. The views are immense and endless from every room. Don't forget to take a moment to sit outside at night. The waves are illuminated by the moon and the stars in the sky are so abundantly visible. We hope you will have a great time and come to love this spot as we all do!'
