Loved having that King bed! The other beds are queen and double so plenty of sleeping room, we also loved the 100% fenced back yard for the dog. The house was cozy and nicely decorated with a fun 50’s edge to it. Host was great, answered quickly when we had questions. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable cozy home, nicely appointed, and well thought out for pet safety and comfort as well. Great location and even though it is near businesses and main roads it is quiet there.

Charming Cottage

We had the best time staying here over July 4th! The house is so cute with tons of charm and just minutes away from downtown Black Mountain. We’ll be back to stay again for sure!

Will book again!

This was such a perfect house to stay in the mountains! Minutes to downtown Black Mountain, and the kids really enjoyed the fenced in back yard to run and play. Will definitely be looking forward to booking again next time we’re in town

Pet friendly great fenced yard, safe and pretty. Nice to watch the sunset. Gated front porch also nice for pets. Bathroom outdated, sink tiny, shower water pressure not great. Kitchen fine, oven needs cleaning, curtains need a wash. Bed comfortable. Goodocation

Cute House

Older house, but very comfortable. Quiet road in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for myself and fur baby. Super close to downtown Black Mountain

Cozy and eclectic

We enjoyed out time away in the Black Mountain area. The house had plenty of amenities, a bath and a half for plenty of room .The decor was eclectic and interesting.

The stay itself was fine. What followed on the day of checkout wasn't. My partner and I booked this home for our anniversary weekend, and within hours of leaving, the host sent a 1,005 payment request accusing us of smoking in the house - all before I even had a chance to respond or ask what was going on. No evidence, no photos, and a story that changed twice within minutes: first the incoming guests smelled smoke, then it was the cleaners who found "cigar butts." Neither of us smokes at all. We disputed through Vrbo, who contacted the host for evidence. He provided none. Vrbo confirmed in writing the charge was unsubstantiated and instructed us to ignore the payment request. I would not book again and urge caution to others to look elsewhere

We spent a few days at this home, with our dog, for my husbands birthday. The neighborhood was very quiet, the home was very cozy and the yard was perfect to throw a ball around for our pup. It was so easy to get to all the spots we wanted to go to in Black Mountain. Jim was very attentive when we had questions.

My niece and I came to hike and visit the surrounding areas. The house and yard were perfect and such a beautiful area! We loved the comfort of the beds and the decor…. We will stay here again!😊
