Non mi è piaciuto: Comunicazione e posizione

Everything seemed okay upon check in except for the fact that one of the rooms had no curtains and all of the blinds were open. Also, the back door was unlocked when I arrived. The main issue that I had at this location was that the next morning we were woken up by an excavation crew at 7 am. Around 9 they knocked on the door and asked us to move one of the 2 vehicles we had. After I moved it forward in the driveway and before going inside I found a letter from the city saying not only were they excavating the sidewalk but, the driveway as well and following the excavation they would be pouring the concrete. The letter stated that once this was done we would not be able to access the driveway for 72 hours. Now us not being from the area, ŵe did not feel comfortable parking in front of someone else's home and also worried that we would either be blocked in or out of the property based on what we decided to do. The constructing crew gave us 15 minutes to pack or stuff and leave. Within 15 minutes of this happening I contacted the host to explain the situation. Unfortunately, he did not respond and my mom and I had plans for the evening so, we had to end up finding accommodations elsewhere. When the host finally reached out all of this was explained to him and that there was a huge misunderstanding and a lot of miscommunication. We felt it was only right that he give us at least a partial refund for the inconveniences that we incurred. He stopped replying and never an
