A masterpiece of design & craftsmanship, this luxurious private retreat nestled on the banks of the Rocky River!

The space

Enter the limestone foyer into the soaring great room featuring 28 ft ceilings, oak beamed trusses & walls of windows overlooking the Rocky River. The massive Rumford fireplace is the crown jewel of the great room.

The 2-story gourmet kitchen clad with premium finishes includes walnut paneled appliances, limestone island, walnut counters, walk-in pantry, & copper range hood.

The master suite has hand-painted ceilings, a waterfront patio, an opulent bath with soaking tub, walk-in closet, & laundry room.

An oak & wrought iron staircase leads to 2 private en suite bedrooms. The lower level provides a spacious recreation room with beamed ceiling.

Extraordinary location

Great house and an absolutely beautiful location. We loved the outdoor fire features. The amenities were great. They even had fresh cut flowers throughout the house. It is even nicer than it looks on the booking site. We would highly recommend this property.

Awesome Christmas Stay

Stayed 6 nights over Christmas. Great for adults and kids. Owner went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience allowing us to enjoy fireplace, having firewood; having soaps shampoo, beautiful decorations for Christmas whcih made our stay magical, immediately responding to all concerns.5 star all the way. To improve sometimes the drivrway smelled like sewage but I think it’s suppose to, fireplace can let a little smoke in at first fyi. Security cameras are just outside so don’t try anything crazy. These were really minor things and I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing stay by the river. Beautiful home and enjoyed it so much! Thank you!!!

Amazing Views

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Ryan was a great host and the home is truly beautiful. The outdoor views are incredible! A relaxing and comfortable stay. Will definitely book again! If you are looking for a retreat vibe with family or friends, this is the home to stay at.

Stunning property

Gorgeous, secluded property set amidst the running Rocky River. Peaceful days and restful nights. Luxurious home with lots of amenities. Ryan was helpful and very responsive. Lovely stay!

Nice riverfront property

The pictures of the property and the inside of the home are representative. A carriage house and the rental home share the end of the driveway. The key to the home is in a lockbox. The home has a main bedroom and bathroom on the main level along with a laundry, kitchen, living room and guest bathroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom. Three couples can comfortably stay in the home. The owner offers a blow-up mattress for any guests past 6 or, if you are like us, and have opposite sex older children who require separate beds. The home is fully stocked with paper products, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc. I have rented several homes and have never experienced such a plethora of supplies throughout the home. Each room is tastefully decorated. If you are a renter who is uncomfortable feeling like you are staying in someone's personal space, this may not be the home for you as the owner's personal items are displayed throughout the home. Outside the home is the river, the huge deck and a patio. This space is monitored with three nest cameras. I did not see this in the VRBO listing and feel compelled, as a pediatrician, to ensure future renters are aware. The main bathroom has a large uncovered picture window that opens out onto the patio. There are no direct neighbors. The owner was very communicative throughout the stay as we cleaned up a small flood in the basement during the storm.

I grew up in a small NE Ohio town. I have a 6 year old son, Jett. We enjoy our boys weekends to the fullest and he gives me the greatest happiness. Former professional athlete, NFL, who has been in the financial services industry for the last 16 years. I am a financial advisor and branch manager of a securities firm in Westlake, Ohio. I enjoy traveling, good food, good people, spending time with my family, and I love my home. I think you will too.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Pictures cannot do it justice. The setting is something you only see in the movies. I live here part time with my 6 year old son and would like others to be able to enjoy what I do.
