Newly renovated home now available in the quaint coastal town of Milbridge, Maine. We call our home Sea Witch Cottage. It is located in walking distance to restaurants, market, antique shops. waterfront parks, farmer's market, art gallery, and historical museum.
Sea Witch Cottage is filled with vintage charm. The Master bedroom has a Queen size bed. It also includes a dresser, large closet, tv and all linens needed.
The large living room is light and airy. It features cottage furniture and antiques and Roku tv.
The cozy home includes all kitchen amenities you will need from a lobster pot to a waffle maker. This U shape kitchen has a lovely dining area for enjoying some of your meals at home.
The Captain's Quarters office is for those who are on a work/vacation. This small room provides you with a desk and seating area for privacy. Wifi is provided. The charming room is filled with antiques and a true nautical decor, Just a lovely private area.
Outside the kitchen is a pleasant deck in a peaceful garden atmosphere. Imagine a quiet morning on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the birds. If that is not enough, the back yard is very private to read a good book or just enjoy the peace and quiet you need on a vacation.
Sea Witch Cottage is located.in walking distance to go explore. You may enjoy walking to Milbridge Commons. The Commons overlooks the sweeping views of Narraguagus Bay. There is a walking track with large, lovely flowering and vegetable gardens. Picnic tables and benches provide a place to relax and eat lunch while you enjoy the waterfront views, The park is located on Main St across from the Historical Museum.
During the summer months on Friday nights enjoy the Summer Concert Series on the outdoor stage at the Marina. Also, at the Marina you can take a scenic cruise to see light houses, whales and puffins off the ocean islands.
About 4 miles away is McClellan Park which is situated on the bay. There are trails to go hiking. You can walk along the shoreline of huge rocky granite and green forest ...the quintessential Bold Coast Maine.
Other places people like to explore are Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor, Schoodic Peninsula and Bangor. They are all great places for day trips.
After all these activities there is nothing like ending the day with fresh seafood caught by local lobster fishermen. Eating lobster is a must Maine experience. You can eat it at local restaurants. Or You can cook them at home in the large lobster pot provided in the kitchen.
