Welcome to the Bobcat Lodge! Enter your pristine and spacious Park County home away from home, where you are greeted by an open-concept Great Room with custom trim work, large vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Sink into the large leather couches for a good read, enjoy a favorite movie with those you love on the mounted Smart TV or just relish in the elevated woodland vistas. The dining area offers the options of a large dining table with seating for 6, the eat-in kitchen with a cozy window table for 4 or the kitchen bar top seating for 3. The well appointed Kitchen offers ample counter space, modern appliances and numerous kitchen gadgets and accouterments, ensuring that you have everything you will need to whip up your favorite family meal. The Central Bathroom offers a vanity, standard toilet and a bathtub/shower combo. The Mid-Level Bedroom has a plush Queen size bed, spacious closet and a cozy corner accent chair for quiet afternoons spent with a great book. All the beds in the home are fitted with fresh and cozy cotton bed linens, ensuring that you wake well rested, refreshed and ready for days of adventure. Relish in the Mountain Modern decor with thoughtful, unique and personal touches throughout the house that will make you feel right at home.

Up the steps to the loft Master Suite, you'll find a state of the art, adjustable, King size bed fitted with cozy cotton bed linens, a large dresser and mounted Smart TV. The En Suite Bathroom offers a double vanity, corner Jacuzzi tub, shower, a private toilet and a spacious walk-in closet for all of your storage needs.

Down the steps to the Ground Floor of the home, take a left to enter a spacious Entertainment Room with a large sectional sofa and mounted Smart TV, or turn Right to Enter a long hallway where you will find two sizable bedrooms with plush Queen size beds and large closets. Each Bedroom offers walkout access to the covered, ground floor deck and hot tub area. At the end of the hallway, the Ground Floor Bathroom features a standard vanity, toilet and a Bathtub/Shower Combo, where you can choose to start your day with a quick refreshing rinse, or sink in for a long soak after days filled with fun and adventure. The Ground floor of the home has a neat and orderly Laundry Room with a washer and dryer available for guest use, so no need to waste precious vacation time making trips to the laundromat in town.

With multiple decks spaces to choose from, you can choose to spend afternoons basking in the bright Colorado sunshine on the upper deck, enjoy your morning brews on the cozy covered porch adjacent, or sink in for a long soak in the brand new hot tub on the Ground floor covered deck. Enjoy comfortable outdoor furniture, an outdoor propane heater (for those brisk autumn nights) and a propane BBQ Grill for evenings spent grilling under the stars! Valley of the Sun is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe elk, deer and foxes (just to name a few of the critters!) right on the property.

The driveway is plowed in the winter and the roadways are maintained by the county, but 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED from November through May due to the frequent snow storms in this area.

Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it's a great "base camp!" If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.

* This home is located in the Central Rockies at approx. 10,965 ft. Please be advised that elevation and weather should be considered when deciding if this location is appropriate.
* Guests are required to have a four-wheel drive vehicle with adequate snow tires or chains during the winter months from November through May. The area is subject to frequent unpredictable and adverse weather conditions which can make travel difficult.
* This home is located in a rural high alpine mountain environment where wildlife, insects and rodents may be encountered. The home is also equipped with a well water system and may have variability in taste, smell or mineral content based on time of year and usage.
* Guests will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement after booking.
* Outdoor security camera(s) are in use at this property, and may be used to verify guest occupancy. Security camera(s) are solely for visual (no audio) monitoring outside the property and are not present inside the property.

Terrific Property!
We really enjoyed this property for the week we stayed. Great location for the hiking and climbing that we had planned in the general area, very close and convenient to multiple trailheads. Nicely appointed and with nice amentities, spacious and comfortable, came stocked with all the basic supplies. Outside wraparound deck and grill were great to have and enjoy. Access was easy in and easy out, having a garage was nice however our vehicles were too large to fit through the single doors. But driveway access was very easy, in contrast to some other properties in this area. 1 star deduction for cleanliness of some of the pots, we had to scrub them out before using. Also 1-star down for location - house is located on a 'through' street in the neighborhood and we experienced more road traffic/noise than we were used to in the past on other streets in this same development. But splitting hairs aside, overall it is a great property with nice appointments. Property manager was also over the top with their service and communication, exceptional prop. mgr.
