Perfect Relaxing stay on the bayou!

We loved our stay at this property! We even enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. The fishing pier was perfect! My husband and son fished off the pier and caught crabs and a mullet fish. The paddle boat was a wonderful extra! We enjoyed going down the bayou in it. It was super close to the Old downtown area about 5 miles. We ate crawfish at The Blind Tiger and grabbed coffee at PJs. There is also a casino close by my husband visited for a few minutes. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable! The host was amazing, and her communication was outstanding!!!

Relaxing place to stay

We have stayed in this area once before and it is our favorite area. Close to everything but quick place to relax. Very cold so we didn't get to sit outside much but still had a wonderful time.

Hi, we are from Long Beach, but have been a part of BSL for decades. We love this small town with all of it festivals, events, beaches, restaurants and shops! My husband and I love hosting, sharing this quiet neighborhood and wonderful community with others. We hosted two homes in the same area for years before selling them, but we missed it so much we had to build another. We enjoy scenic boat rides down the bayou, fishing on the bayou and Jourdan River, sitting on the balcony and watching the wildlife. I love shopping and having a fantastic meal in Old Town, walking along the nearby beaches, And after a busy day, just relaxing in the recliners and watching our favorite shows on the smart tv.

We most enjoy the quiet neighborhood, the bayou, fishing, and canoeing. Close proximity to highway 90 and I-10. One hour to New Orleans, minutes to beaches, shopping, restaurants, and night clubs.

I tried to decorate with the community in mind using local finds. All new appliances, 3 new recliners, ceiling fans on the balcony, in the living room and all bedrooms. Lots of parking and room for your boat or cargo trailer under covered parking. Large front and side balcony with comfortable seating and sun deck.
